Here is your step by step guide to baking an easy and delicious sourdough loaf! I hope this helps you out if you are just starting!
Recipe:
1 3/4 cup of warm water
1/4 cup of active starter
4-5 cups unbleached flour
-Mix all ingredients together until you have a shaggy dough
-Let sit for 30 min and then begin your first stretch and fold
-Repeat last step until you have done a total of 4 stretch and folds
-Let rest on counter for 2 hours
-Shape dough into loaf and put in floured tea towel
-Proof overnight in the fridge
-In the morning, preheat dutch oven for 1 hour at 450
-Take dough out of fridge and put on parchment paper
-Score your dough and put in dutch oven at 450 for 20-30 min
-Take lid off and bake another 15 min
-Let cool for one hour before cutting
-Enjoy!!
