actually it doesnt, it just into Download mode. when you get to that screen before Download mode and press the home button, it just sends the phone into download mode

Chee Thao I even took the back plate off of the phone because the sticker on the battery shows it but there is no sticker on the battery , I have no box, and the phone is stuck in this mode so I have no way of getting the serial number, would it be inside the phone on a part or anything because if I have to take the phone apart I will.

marco micoy Check the letters carefully. H may look like M as they are so small. Also, type all in Caps. Hope this helps.

I typed my serial number in correctly and it's not accepting it.

@ZeDfriT | I fixed my phone but not this way. I did a .pit flash with odin and it fixed it but there are some risks. Like, if the .pit file fails then you would have to buy another motherboard and replace it. So, if your gonna do a .pit flash then make sure you get the right file.

Your phone is still technically in download mode while this error message appears. You should be able to flash firmware to your phone using software called Odin.

the newer version of switch doesnt have it, you have to install older version like 4.1.16

What is OEM, and how to turn it on?

@@Max-lo6mc OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer. To turn it on. Go to Setting => about phone=> Software Information => Build Number. You can touch build Number until the Developer Option is turn on Go to Developer Option and Unlock OEM.

The problem i got with Odin is that when i want to select the AP file on ODin, the AP file doesnt pop up. I only see the big MP5 document. (I tried to extract the MP5file, which worked. But when i open it with Odin it only shows the MP5 file and not those others which i extracted ). Im running Odin as administrator, but i think the only thing i need to do is fix that OEM stuff. But how to fix that when i cant get into my phone?

So what ive done is: i put the MP5 file in the AP section on Odin. Ive connected my phone etc. And i press start, then all kind of things pop up but it stucks at boot.img for a couple of minutes. After that it says : boot.img Complete(Write) operation failed. All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1). Do you know what i should do?

I'm using Samsung S6 After download smart switch application under emergency software recovery beside there is no option such as device Installation it was asking me Emergency Recovery code using the recovery code.

I cant recall the version but I was using a software released in 2016
