Just finished my top from your tutorial and I love it!!! From 1to 10, it’s a 10! I used similar colors except I used a dark turquoise instead of green, it came out beautiful.

I am making one for myself, but I want to make one for my niece. I feel like she would look so cute in it and I could make it longer so it covers a whole lot more. She is turning 14, and she likes tops like this.
some tips from a beginner who just finished this project!! 1: remember you have to make new granny square for this project, as you have to leave a tail long enough to sew them together!! 2. this thing will be medium difficulty to get on + I recommend having a second person on hand to help you adjust the straps once you have it on 3. at the end of making your waistband remember not to cut your tail!!!! you will be using it to make the back loops and trim. I had to splice my yarn more times than I'd like to admit. don't be like me :,) 4. when making the straps, be careful about adding to the #of stitches. I did 200, and I think I'm going to have to shorten them. don't worry about how the space at the back will add length- no more than 180 should be more than enough!! overall a great project, would recommend

Also how do you know how many chains you should do for each side for straps depending on your size? And actually speaking of size.. when making the squares and measuring around bust you mentioned in cm .. do you know how to convert to inches ? 🤪 You said this yarn you used was a 4mm .. is that mean a DK or worsted weight yarn? 💜🥰💜
