@FragranceswithGigi I just sprinkle some baking soda over the fruit and soak in water. There's no measurement. Just do enough to get the job done but not an illogical amount :)

I love how you let your kids be messy because you clean so well it doesn't bother you. I am the same way, let them make a mess, let them enjoy themselves and just clean it up instead of denying them their curiosity and exploration that is so critical especially for children under 5 💞
In the summer time we lived on fresh fruits, vegetables, and sandwiches. Way to hot to cook anything. Of course, grew up in Arizona so that is what we ate from the end of May through to October.
@@hallohellohihi why? Because she didn’t cook anything? Toss the veggies up together and it’s a salad with a side of fruit and crackers. That’s a meal. Besides if it fills you up then what does it even matter? Snack or not they got fed and got fed well.
I have an 11 month old and currently pregnant, I have always washed fruits and vegetables with just water and nothing has happened to me or my 11 month old, some people just worry too much and go all out for nothing 😂
In my day, we and our kids ate everything without having to go through " a bath " , and they had more immunity to many viruses !! Plus it took lots more effort to use. A knife to chop veggies and fruit !@ just saying !! Too many gadgets, too much cleanings !! Doesn't mean you didn't love your family!!
@JewishMacaroni the produce absorbs everything you listed. Washing doesn't change any of that. I will say the possibility of salmonella and E. Coli can be washed away though, and worms, so that is why you might want to wash. It is rare for those things to be left on fruit though. It's more of a vegetable issue.
Yeah but now days things are not grown the same way there used to be. We live in a processed fast frown world. Pesticides are huge. I'm guilty of not washing them thoroughly 😢
You don’t need to use sprays or chemicals on berries or fruit. The FDA and other authorities say all you have to do is rinse with plain water. You’re wasting your money.
Same people who approve of all the horrific chemicals in our food? Same people who started the opioid crisis? Same people who employed several Monsanto executives?

It’s funny…when I was little my mom would take us to pick strawberries from the fields. I loved it. I’m certain I ate more than I put in the bucket…and they weren’t washed first. Guess what, I’m just fine!

What kind of vegetables are you buying that you have to wash them with the soap or some kind of a detergent? It’d be cheaper just to buy organic and wash them like regular.
Why not use bit of baking soda & water. All these chemicals can’t be good for your kids. Can’t watch you on account of your using a advertising product through your videos
Если покупные, надо мыть. Свои с огорода, то как угодно. Сейчас большинство ягод с ней тратами и химией. Если не мыть, ничего хорошего не будет. Плюс какими руками собирают и т. Д.
