Cutting a 5” section around the middle of a plastic 2 liter cola bottle without any raised label can then be trimmed as if to make a 2” funnel. Place it over the threads and curl to a small size less than the seal. If a vise is available, gently hold the hex head of this bolt without deforming it. Lube with the proper fluid and slide the seal into place. Make sure to keep it straight and not rolling or twisting the seal. Remove your homemade install tool, wipe the fitting with a microfiber rag to ensure cleanliness. Teflon has memory, so if allowed to sit and massaged it with your fingers, ensure it is flat in the gloves seat, it will shrink and snap in a short time to fit & seal properly without a leak. I the tool is available on a loaner program at your parts store ask! They may not have it and this is a trick used in automatic rebuilding.
