Beautiful . Had a little trouble figuring out the pattern. Had to play over and over, then realized the a+b+a+b, and b+a+b+a alternate. Once I understood that it went well. Thanks

@@HuongHandmade12 i finally finished it. I think my trouble was realizing its done kinda like on a diagonal. It wasnt making sense. But it turned out great. Now that I get it, Im going to make another. Thankyou. You have beautiful jewelry

Thanks for the tutorial. Made this tonight! Note: If your string is coming out of the black bead ----- > it's BABA and if the string is coming out < ---- then it's ABAB. I did mine without the pearl in the middle and I love it. First necklace I've made. Thanks again!

It became much easier once I realized that the order of the beads on the needle changed if you were going clockwise or counterclockwise. Lovely! Thanks.

Yeah I had that problem too. And if you stop in the middle you have to remember which order is up next!

In India, such necklaces are called ''mangalsutra'' and only worn by married women. Just a fact and the necklace is really very gorgeous 😊😊

@@HuongHandmade12 I meant that generally necklaces with black beaded threads in North India are mangalsutras. Unmarried girls can use any other colour of beads in the string😊those are normal necklaces. For more info. You can check on Google.🤗😊

@@HuongHandmade12 well, Indian girl or woman who get married on the day of their marriage groom ties the mangalsutra in neck of bride as a necklace..... Nowadays modern married women in India r using this in bracelet form also if they don't want to wear it as necklace....

7/25/22 I am currently weaving this lovely. I noticed one alternates the order of the beads for the squares. To make this less confusing I make a line of single beads and alternate the colors. As I work the square I pick up the first bead in the row on my mat and then go to the two piles for the next 3 beads. I had some difficulty beading the focal area but eventually I got it right. One large reason for my mistakes is that I used completely different colors of beads. Thank you Phi for sharing this intricate and awesome project! ❣️

I just now discovered your channel. What a spectacular piece of jewellery you have created. I have filed this video with my craft file and, after watching it a few times , I may actually attempt to make this./ Have you ever, or could you please, make a video about restringing and hand knotting beads or pearls? Many places want almost as much to restring beads as what I originally paid for them.

This necklace turned out beautifully, but for a medium skilled beader, I thought it was kind of difficult. Keeping track of the order in which you add the beads is a challenge and it ended up taking me 12 hours to finish this. But it was well worth it!
