Thanks so much! Yes we have a small discord community for Patreon and RU-vid members. If you need any help, I'm also available on Instagram and Twitter dm's
So how do you handle the moisture all over the minis. I have done something along this idea and gave up on it due to the moisture build up being out of control.
I'm actually mid filming a follow up episode that takes a look at the fogger I'm using here and some tips to avoid too much moisture buildup. In short though, with this setup the chimneys or directing the mist upwards means that most of the condensation stays inside the pipes and is pretty minimal on the board. This fogger also lets you dial down the amount of mist so it can run for a few hours before you see droplets. Also if you wanna be on the safe side, varnishing minis and terrain is always good (outdoor varnish can also be more water resistant). It's understandable it's not for everyone, and the effect is very much optional. I personally love the effect, and haven't had any big trouble with my minis and terrain other than some water build up here and there which is easy to clean up.
Those were available on thingyverse. www.thingiverse.com/thing:2814307 I'm also designing a modular gantry system that's available for patrons at the moment, but will be available when the video comes out.
Thanks for watching! The basic set is available for free in the description, and currently the extended set is a Patreon exclusive. There are future plans to set up a myminifactory store when I work out the business side of things and get some more designs going
After using it in some games, most of the condensation I get is inside the pipes. There are a few tricks you can use to keep things from getting wet that I was gonna go over in an upcoming video. Basically it has to do a lot with placement and direction of the mist. The smoke effect is very much optional, this version uses a normal smoke machine ru-vid.comsJsY5CaJ9Es?feature=share
