I have found the best outcome for foil transfers is to cure the foil glue for 1 minute. But instead of immediately applying the foil, I let it sit for a few mins (like 3 minutes, depending on how much time im working with) and then rub your foil I don't know why, but no matter the brand of foil glue, they all work better if it sits for a little after curing.
It's just a clear jelly stamper. The only issue with using it for foil glue, is the glue slides or runs and pools on the sides of the nail. It honestly is quicker to just paint it on the nail where you want it. You still have to cure the glue on the nail before you transfer the foil.
No it doesn't work. The no wipe topcoat doesn't work either. It has to be foil glue and it has to be cured before you put the transfer foil on the nail. I'm not sure why it's no noted in the video because that's the most important part is curing it for 60 seconds before applying the foil. The no wipe topcoat has no sticky layer left behind, so there's nothing to make the foil stick. The 4 in 1 base gels, work but only in patches. For a full transfer the only way to get it is with foil glue.
Honestly I get the hack, but I've seen the glue pool on the sides of the nail tip and then you have to clean it up and what not anyway. I think it's more time consuming doing it with a stamper, and then you have more stuff to clean afterwards from using it. But to each their own. ❤

@@PuuhschelI found Burano works better than Makartt. I've got good transfers with Makartt but it's not as great as advertised. Try curing your foil glue for 60 seconds and then instead of applying your foil right away, let it cool for a few mins. If that doesn't work, try applying the foil gel, cure for 60 seconds and then repeat the process. Once both layers are done, let it sit for a few mins and try transferring your foil then. Hope that helps. ❤
I got it from enailcouture website. They have a lot of beautiful design. But you can find transfer foil everywhere now. If you want the cheaper one you can get it from SHIEN
Definitely was for the French design. It doesn't really turn out like that though. I've done it and I don't have trouble with foils but using the stamper, you have to clean it before you cure it anyway. It's too think in some spots and then it pools down, so I just paint it wherever I want the foil.
