GREAT JOB ON ALL YOUR PROJECTS, thanks for the share! Question: why power this circuit ? i thought the photocell works by light, therefor the circuit wouldn't need light to activate the transistors BASE and at that point the "light switch will be on" (current flows from C to E thanks to cds turning switch in B) or is the power meant more for the LED? i understand the cds is not going to produce enough of anything to power the LED mA's and V required to do so?
