This Veto Pro Pac Backpack Contains HVAC tools and common components for Boiler service.Winter is Coming! From Knipex pliers wrenche to Wera Screwdrivers, this tool bag review goes over everything in the tool bag for the 2022-2023 winter service. The tool bag is broken down into 2 sections, hand tools and components, and the electrical section. There are an unlimited amout of hvac tool combinations that can be kept in a bag, most service technicians will keep it to just that though. I like to keep a mix of hvac tools and boiler or furnace parts so I can cut back on time going back and forth to the truck, and more time fixing problems.

Add some garden hose caps and washers, flare caps and some pipe plugs and caps.( Valves don't always hold when closed). Imp cutter for the tubing. Gauge glass washers.

I keep a bit more stuff in my bag, but we seem to have a similar winter loadout. I don't tend to replace a lot of flame sensors though.. almost never, but I keep a few thermopiles. It gets me through most service calls and installs.

I’m torn right now between moving over or keeping the small bag I’m not a fan of, it’s done pretty well for me so far but I think it would be better to switch, any thoughts?

Interesting to see what you use for majority boiler. I've got the Veto tool pouch XXL and that works for me here in Michigan where we have a majority RTU's and extention ladders.

Exactly, seems like there’s no one size fits all for how a tool bag should be laid out, and it should be geared towards your needs as opposed to what others keep on them

Too many heavy screw drivers dude. If u got the 2 slim cobra y carry a third cobra of the same size? After my first month in service (mostly residential small commercial) I slimmed down to 14 lb bag total weight. Over all not bad, just looks heavy. I’d add 1 or 2 picks (hook shaped).

Honestly I hate the size of that Klein multi nut driver. The handle is huge.. it's heavy as heck...

@@theapprenticesurvivalguide dont tell!!!!! i have a dream, to make a tool bag fiting all the tools and hardware to bring to a service call to make all customers happy!!! i tried hard...... but in reality none is gone to be 100% happy... sooooo!!!! good will and positive vibes only!!! and rememder always. if you are not well, nothing is gone to be well. first of all you and your health and then the rusty old boilers etc... work hard, keep your eyes and ears open,love what are you doing, treat your self with respect, and everything will be brighter day by day! im telling you all that because i never forgot my days as an aprentice and the things i learned by patience. god speed man!!!
