LOVE THIS !!! It's attainable to a beginner, it's SO beautiful and makes us all smell those fragrant blooms !!! SIDE NOTE: top two right mixing trays. In each tray, your mixing results yielded an image of a dogs face (I just woke up & watching this) and this made me smile. Hope you see it too and find a smile creep across your face :)
These are very pretty and looks simple enough for beginners! I sent it to my friend who I am teaching drawing and watercolor. She will love it! Thank you!🖌🎨
“And there you go! There are your lilacs in a jar. Vase. Thing.” 😂😂 This just makes me love your channel more. Keep being yourself and making it so inviting to paint 💖
Love your watercolor tutorials so much Emma, can’t wait to follow along with this video! Thank you for telling us the purples you mixed for this project too, helps so much!!
Beautiful watercolour made to look so easy! I am new to painting but really loving it and your watercolour tutorials are so valuable, easy to follow and much appreciated. Thank you!
I’ve been binge watching your videos lately! Watched the first one last week. I’ve always been into art and usually always have something creative I do at the side but I don’t have one at the moment. But I think watercolour painting will have to be my next 😍 esp since I’ve always liked painting flowers, but usually with acrylics.
Emma, you are so awesome! I'm so glad I found you on RU-vid! I'm trying to learn to watercolor for the first time, and I know your videos and tutorials are going to help me tremendously! Thank you so much!!!
Fantastic! I’ve recently subscribed to your channel after being recommended and I’ve been binge watching. You are a wonderful teacher! Thank you so much. Hugs from the UK. Dee xox
I think one of my favorite things about your paintings is the "just do it" sort of approach - no need to have a lot of sketching framework or filling corner to corner of the paper with colors. I feel like it helps build confidence to just go ahead and paint. I appreciate your "easy" tutorials that a painter of any skill level could follow along and make something beautiful. I love how the different shades of purples blended together. Lovely :)
That's the part I like the most....just get to it. I cannot do even a fraction of it. But I'm going to keep trying. My lake landscape started well. Now its turned to caca. Lol keep on pressing forward.
She makes everything look so easy lol. I have ordered some watercolour materials on the weekend I am a complete newbie to it and I cannot wait for them to arrive. I hope I can create something beautiful. Does anyone know if you have to be good at drawing to be good at watercolour ? I suck at drawing but I really want to channel my creativity so I hope I can get good at this.
Hi Emma 👋 thank u for demonstrating a lovely watercolor painting u explained step by step all the way which I find very helpful .... loved the different colours of lilac so pretty have a nice week Lin in South Wales uk 🦋 💞 .....P.S please can you tell me have u picked the winner of your competition x
Afternoon Emma I painted these only a few weeks ago using a image for reference, didn't turn out very well ☺️ glad you posted this so I know exactly how to lay down the paint and I think my failure was to much water like you said in your vid, I'm going to try again, thanks Emma 👌🎨
You are blessed with talent !! Just beautiful. The important thing I think I am learning from your videos is ---Less is more. Blessings from Sue in Delaware
Pretty good. I like. Thank you for sharing 😊. I was wondering how to do a painting like this one in watercolor. Especially the jar with water in it. Now I know how.
I love your loose florals, Emma. If you stop the video at around 6:15 you can really see how the cooler colors (blues) recede and the warmer colors (violet) come forward. There’s a great color theory lesson right there.
