Easy way to draw sea waves / Acrylic painting for beginners 

And there my friends is the difference between a typical wannabe sketcher/painter and an artist. I fought hard in my early years to prove anyone can become a drawing or painting professional artist, finally around the age of 30 I realized damn, they are special folks I think born with special talents. Much like some of the frightful people auditioning on America's Got Talent that couldn't carry a tune if they had it in a bucket. Others, great and gifted in voice control make it look like anyone can sing......until they open their mouths and remove all doubt. Respect to all the talented and gifted folk in our presence. ☺️

Ex teacher, lecturer and trainer albeit in IT and Maths, now retired and took up WCs, Oils, and Pastels about 3 years ago. So have watched 'countless' RU-vids on how to paint, especially beach and waves videos like this one, which I would say is up there with the hardest painting topic to teach. Without any doubt, this is one of the best I have seen on here. Simple, to the point, especially colour mixes shown, amount of paint to use, type of brush and very clear distinctive brush technique and direction. Had a go last night and usually very critical of my work, at the end thought "That's quite good :-(". Certainly going to subscribe and see what else you do.

I have a box full of acrylic paints but didn't know what to do with them. Now I know!!! I have to try this. I don't expect that it will look anything like this but it will be a start for me. Thanks for showing me your wonderful painting.

It is so beautiful. I'm a beginning beginner. lol I'm not anywhere near ready to attempt this yet. I can't even get a cloud to look right. I am learning that I need to stop being afraid of the paint and also about paint consistency. I can't wait until I am ready to attempt this.
