How to wash your motorcycle. Foam cannon, rinse, foam cannon, scrub, rinse. All you need is a cheap electric power washer, a foam cannon and a brush. Washing the bike is easy, you do want to take caution when using high pressure water near seals.

Please use contact cleaner on electrical connections 😅

He's not cleaning them. Wd40 is a water repellent

@@Kovacreation Yes I know, contact cleaner also dispels water and oils etc …does the same but not as dangerous as normal wd40

WD40 was literally designed for this 👍🏻
@zekd

Not a repellent, but rather a displacer. WD stands for water displacement, it was the 40th batch that was successful, that where the name WD40 comes from.

Yea that I agree as the companies name is WD - Water Displacement and the Company also sells Contact Cleaner as it’s meant to be used for electrics and electrical connections without being flammable (I’m not talking about the aerosol side being flammable)

Bruh I'll be too concerned leaving those battery connections open for any corrosion

That’s what the WD40 is for.

Ever have connection issues after a wash? Your the first person I’ve ever seen spray the plugs with wd40
@zekd
@zekd 3 месяца назад
Never, I don’t plug back in the battery right away. Usually before the next ride. By that time it’s dried out. WD40 is designed for that!

@@zekd fair and yea it’s water displacement, I was thinking you plugged in right after 😂 but glad to hear it provided no issues I’m going to have to try now that I know it’s a reliable way to protect from the water

is it just me or whenever i clean my bike and dry it the dirt comes back like tiny stains or am i doing something wrong?
@arctic_void

It depends on your water supply, hard water has minerals like calcium in it (salt). Buy a hose water filter and you'll be good, you can also use it just for rinsing.

Water displacement after the wash. Chain lube once dry. Whats your process?
@peaceinthemiddleeast
@peaceinthemiddleeast 3 месяца назад
@zekd maybe you're right. I was told no wd40 on chain at all. But what you're saying does have merit! Didn't mean to be rude. Thanks for vid!
@zekd
@zekd 3 месяца назад
@@peaceinthemiddleeast Not rude at all. I agree that it should not be used in place of lube. I'm running a non sealed roller chain so getting the water out is critical for the longevity of the chain after a wash or wet ride. I also use it on the exposed electrical connectors on this bike. You could also use compressed air but I find WD40 to be the easiest.

WD40 to CLEAN the chain is fine. Lube it after always.
