And some tactics strategy to play the game amd what you need to prepare for a new player, i've been playing for almost a month and i dont even know what is taunt and how to taunt haha
I play global I've been and still will save for nobu and have like probs 310 more or less SQ then Im going to go wild with them whn the banner releases. Gonna take while but makes it all the more better for saving.
I think what would be awesome for beginners to show how Mashu (which is their first Servant in game they have) is useful and how to use her, me as player discovered her potential after almost year of playing (which is shame) and now im using her a lot, especially in hard quests... so it would be good to point out how good in reality she is.
@@godzefkiel2686 i think you'll get 30 sq after login for 50 or 100 day.And if you didn't login for one day you'll restart the login streak from the beginning
My tip for my kouhai's: don't be fooled by the rarity as a guy who played for 1 and half years don't underestimate a servant based on their rarity invest in them and some of them can even take you till the late game like OG Cu Culain, Proto Cu, Inshun, Anderson, Shakespere and Mozart, if you got lucky and got a Zhuge Liang or any of the best caster supports you'll have to invest on them they're worth it but don't neglect your lower rarity servants they can help you in a pinch the especially the Cu's
What do you mean? Rarity USELESS? You forgot about Nikola Tesla like he "Almost" appear on every Event so you get a bonus Event Drop and don't underestimate the Power of Saber Face Event
@@Juustopizza100 after completing an arrow from a main quest you will recieve one fragment so you won't have a multiple of seven or you'll have leftover fragments most of, if not all, the time
Me a veteran:I'll take notes in case For new players. Raise one of every class of unit and save all units. Log in Everyday. Use stamina even if you don't have anything to farm. Don't be afraid to make friend requests even whales love new players for fp. Game is a marathon so take your time and at your own pace. Do all free quest and play events when able Somewhat cheating but not really. Look ahead on the wiki and see who you want and save and save for them. LEVEL DAVID. Most importantly have fun and don't burn yourself out. It's a game with a good community
@@marianchovych David is wonderful especially at long battles. Jp he got a buff to do extra damage to giant enemeis so even more powerful unit. He is underated in character but kit is solid. If you need any more advice just ask
@@foualter102 i just wrote the basic stuff I got from playing the game myself. I forgot to bring up ce bombs but we have plenty of videos about it. In general just hope new players take thier time to build thier account and have fun while doing it.
Well for me the free quests are like the emergency savings if there is a servant that i really want but the saved st quarts werent enough then i would farm the free quests in order to get more pulls
I’d say a CE bomb guide would be used to new players it took me forever to realize how to do it. Unless you guys have already made one. In that case disregard this comment 😂
New player here (joined during ServantFes summer event), this is fantastic! I started getting a grasp of everything I was supposed to be doing but this was a big help in confirming that I'm going in the right direction. Thank you so much! My main goal is to get King Hassan when his banner eventually comes, so I guess I'll save up that 1000+ SQ too loll
If you really want to build up a saint quartz cache without spending money, you're going to have to skip banners until you get your servant's banner. This can be harder than it sounds, especially since FGO does a lot of events, and gacha CEs can make farming events easier. As a player, you'll have to weigh how much you want to save versus a short time gain rolling on an event banner just to farm faster. It comes down to personal choice, but YOU CAN FARM MOST EVENTS WITHOUT CEs. Use the friend support system to your advantage. Roll friend points to try to get the 3-star CE. Buy the CEs from the event shop as soon as you can. Most importantly, be patient. It might seem like it's so slow, but trust me, close to the end of any event you'll have enough currency to trade for whatever you want from the shop.
Not to mention having ZERO NP Battery CEs does start feeling painful the closer you get to Camelot. There's no guarantee you'll have enough FPs (free or otherwise) to MLB a Dragon's Meridian. (At least, that's been my experience as a relatively fresh player of over 100 days....)

I started playing when the Gilgamesh Banner popped up, because he's is my favorite Fate Character. Only had 6 SQ and expected nothing, did 2 single pulls. Got a 3* Caster and Archer Gilga himself. My day was made, i love this game sm

I can't even remember what it's like to start FGO from the beginning again. I've relied on Grailed SR to SSR Servants (and a few non-Gold Grailed Servants) and overpowered Limited CEs like Poster Girl so much, that I can't answer this question myself anymore. That some of our friends who started JP like 3 years after launch and managed to thrive is actually legitimately impressive, imo. Kudos to giving advice for the late wave of Masters!
Tried rolling for Castoria since I'm lacking a good caster and accidentally poured all my life savings into her banner, got nothing but a Siegfried 🙃😮💨
As someone who started playing a couple months ago the influx of free SQ early on was what allowed me to roll for Okita Alter, who was my first SSR and has been my favorite servant for a long time now.
As a new player, I've been logging in daily for 36 days. I want to roll for best girl Scathach in the new year but I was allured by the Christmas banner. I had something like 214 SQ saved. I blew it all and I'm so ashamed. granted I got pretty lucky with my rolls, Two rider Quetz, Two Bradamante's and Two Martha Rulers which really helped my roster. Especially Martha. Now if I dont get Scathach I only have myself to blame. I'm also desperate for a good caster and really want Tamamo in january as well. Gacha gods be with me.
@@otakuhunter4817 in general I have been very lucky with my rolls and I won't pretend otherwise, just very lucky. I ended up getting Scathach and Tamamo.
Looking at the interludes and rank ups... remember there are 1/2 and 1/4 AP campaigns for those. Same with main/free quests. Normally they last a week or so but they’re the perfect time to clear that backlog!
Thank you for making this video, Mr. Musaki. I often times have a difficulty saving my saint quarts, especially when I'm waiting for a particular servant to come. So, this video really helps. I already logged into the game on a daily basis, maybe I should take some time I actually finish up some of the read up Quest I have leftover. Probably more vital than anything in this video is exercising discipline on when you roll. Even if you log in every single day and do every single free quest, interlude and strengthening quest you'll never accumulate a lot of saint quartz if you're spending them every time you get enough to roll. I've been saving up for Abby and I had acquired over 800 saint quartz and about 110 tickets, all of it free. I rolled for and managed to pull Sitonai, leaving me with around 750 quartz and 100 tickets for Abby. I now have 233 quartz (got some more after rolling) and 71 tickets.
Also when you complete your weekly master missions and collect the SQ fragments don't convert into full SQ. Just complete the quest and collect the reward and leave safe.
I saved around 4 months of natural quartz and fragments for skadi which somehow came to around 860 quartz and 120 tickets cause of anniversary and stuff...got her on the first ticket.
Do your interLEWD/rank up quest Do your login Do all your weekly master quest( 3 SQ per week) Farm event nodes/play event this is good for getting mats And last and certainly not least HEADPAT YOUR MASHU(and listen to her song when you get SQ fragment)
been saving since i started playing (i think was around the time of the apocrypha event)... had almost 700sq +100+ tickets for iskandar... my iskandar np 2 says hi ^^ 1 iskandar day 1, 2nd iskandar when i was rolling in the waver / iskandar day, and even got that same day arthoria as spook when she didnt have rate up, definitely worth the saving - idc about arthoria but im rly happy about iskandar and waver
For early singularities it's an easy farm of sq but of course you also need to hold yourself back from pulling everytime you get 3 Saint quartz XD IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GRINDDDDDD
Here's a tip, always think of tickets as quartz too. That way you don't just randomly waste tickets on random stuff. Tickets stack up really fast and are basically 3SQ each
One thing id recommend is getting the main singularities up to babylonia then for your free quests that you werent able to do due to being underleved. (Has happened) By doing this you basically can clear waves within the game faster and it isnt as bad as a grind. It does get harder later though so just a heads up there. I personally find Babylonia easier to free quest farm then camelot. Another Reccomendation: Save up your tickets for pulls. Shop has 5 each month and grinding for mana prisms can replace your quartz stash. Meaning if you save ticket pulls for 2months you have a 10 pull in tickets which is 30 quartz (cheese method)

doing daily missions and getting the mana cube helps too. get enough mana cubes and you can exchange for summon tickets every month to summon servants, which is what SQs are ultimately there for
The log in every day pattern and do master missions goes double during download campaigns and other special login events due to tickets and other rewards useful for your account that come in good numbers from logins and limited time missions including trail quests...and logging in everyday is already 100% recommended. Tickets are a FTP or low spenders friend in great numbers, just ask my Golden King. Also due to anniversary boosts, login streak rewards increased, free quest extra mission then the latest in JP of every arrow of a main mission gives an SQ shard, including 0AP no battle ones, which makes just doing the story even more profitable, alongside other boosts, like interlude and rank up extra missions, means almost every little thing will pay back dividends worth the effort. This may turn general maintaince you've done in areas into SQ making them worth doing in advance even if no rewards are available yet in JP. Take care of even your lowest for their uses, or in advance for the actually bad, prepare in advance for the Hells to come and have goals you are saving for.
i started 17 days ago i have 3 ssr's illya(lucly ticket) artoria and drake(was aiming for jeanne with my measly 60 quartz) but after seeing this video i already decided i will save every single piece of quartz(tickets too) till merlin comes back (and if jeanne somehow ends up having a rateup 'cuz i love her character)
My suggestion to you all is be mindful of the opportunities. You should make sure that depending on the summon you use it on something that you want so you don’t regret it later.
I've been saving up my saint quartz after I spent 90 of them on shuten douji and got nothing good whatsoever but I did get 5 Star Gilgamesh for 30 quartz and he's my first archer :)
I started playing FGO on 15th February this year. Right now I'm on the 7th singularity. I had a worries about Saint quartz but luckily I have patience and figured out things step by step. Apparently they gonna do another bonus in July this year on NA server. Also I'm trying to finish the singularities before my 25% discount on AP expires.
I think I started in February and my alt in March but both have cleared the latest lost belt. You can definitely push a bit more aggressively in the story.

Im doing this for Super Orion. New player here. Luckily got Bunnytoria 2 days in with a summoning ticket (and I dont care what they say, I LOVE HER)! Now all the summoning tix and sq are going to Super Orion.
I still havent gone through my free quests starting from Okeanos I think. That's a lot of SQ I can get but I can't do it with all these events going around!!
If you're on NA you can look at future banners, releases, and events, as well as plan ahead for story releases and celebrations by going to any wiki with the JP events. You should also wait for a free quest ap reduction event or a rank up quest ap reduction.
I dunno if youll be able to read this but your videos are hella helpful. You are godsent. Beenn doing your tips and its been very easy and Im starting to be more familiar with the mechanics of the game as I go. So Im playong for a couple of days now. I have 3w saint quarts. I dont know exactly where to pull or should I pull right now. I hope you can help. Though you already helped me a lot!
Good advice will be 1) daily quest 2) Clear all main story even event quest. You don't have to farm it if you are new. 3) level up servant... Why do you think this work? Because you will unlock skill up quest. All of them give you SQ too. So all under 4 stars DO get useful as they are mostly the first to get skill upgrade interlude. 4) Login like duh? That's all there is for SQ farm.
Ah the good ol'times where i can level up easily, Lots of AP, lots of quarts, more stories to unlock, And That was last year. I have 27 quarts currently, Have lots of servants but i have little materials to level them up, and i am already at the chinese lostbelt. I am hoping that they would do something to make old players get easy quartz, Like make a specific stage for getting them. 10/15 quarts per month of something.
Im a beginner and i got waver as my first 5 star for my third 10 poll from his banner, now im targeting arjuna alter his gonna be so valuable for me as a beginner if i do get him
A whole ton Patience and your utmost dedication to only get the servant you want, is the only way for you to survive in this Gacha Hell without making your credit card and wallet dry, Manage to survive for 3 years without using money, but its really tough to hold on especially with the continuous barrage of tempting banners by DW.
My suggestions as a vet. lv up a 3 star or lower rarity of every servant Looks at the wiki to see what 4 and 5 star sevarnts are interesting for and save up for them lv up a AOE 3 star berzeker make you life alot easier for farming those daily quests. I know this will be sounds crazy but do a few 10 rolls on the story summon you will at least get a 4 star craft essence. and at least grab those 5 free monthly summon tickets from the mana prism shop Don't use your golden apples at the start you will lv up pretty fast.
For those that say what if this is the pull... yes it's possible, I spent only 30 for a 10 pull and got Summer Nero, King Protea, and Hokusai (different times, Summer Nero was also my 1st 5 star). However Fate pool is a cruel mistress, I've also spent almost 500 to get bride Nero Claudius or Arthur and I didn't get Arthur. Heck I even recently spent about 200 just to get Gawain a 4 star and didn't get him. My advice look at all future banners for the year save up double what you would spend for certain characters, you want summer Artoria or Musashi on the rerun next summer have 600, or 1200 for both. This is not a game you can have a gambling mentality like other gachas, the house always wins.
You can on occasion get free quartz from following the game on social media. On Twitter/Face Book FGO will sometimes run like/share/retweet challenges. If the community as a whole reach those numbers, we can get rewarded with materials, qp, friend points, and even quartz.
I begun my account as a lucksacker. Went after Iskandar with my beginning quartz (I was literally only 2 weeks into the game), and I spent a few summon tickets and about 90 or so Saint quartz. I got Iskandar (on a single summon roll at that after spending all the quartz I had prior and failing to get him). I was ridiculously overjoyed because the moment I got this game, mostly to get Iskandar, I wanted to get him. Was disappointed when I found out he was limited, but I thought, ok whatever I'll just save up for him. Then his event popped up about week in to my brand new account. You have no idea what kind of anxiety I went through during this event man. XD I had only completed Fuyuki and Orleans. Was damn near the beginning of Rome during the entirety of that event.
10 Saint Quartz for every 10 Interludes cleared, also 3 Saint Quarz rewards from Max Ascending Servants of a Standard or Extra Class. Not to mention to add to the single Quartz that is gained from clearing a Story Chapter, there's now a single Saint Quartz Fragment for every arrow completed within a Section! Mind that it doesn't apply to Free Quests… for now. Those of us playing in JP dunno yet. Also, personally I don't recommend saving it all for that one Servant you want, because in the end you're playing against the RNG. You can save all the Quartz you want, but if you're unlucky you'll spend it all with nothing to show for it. So, final tip is roll every once in a while to satisfy your base need to roll. And when rolling, _hope for the best but expect the worst._ Sorry for the extra long comment btw……
When you get SQ fragments, don't turn them into SQs immedently, just save them until the servant you want comes on the next banner then go ahead and use them. Also any SQ and tickets you get from the present box just leave them alone until you actually need them.
Only 2 months before Qin Shi, we are waiting Musaki😉 For newer players like Musaki said, do free quests, and rank up quests and interludes And I want to add something adressed to everyone It's easy, go to your gift box, and filter out quartz and tickets 😂😂, don't collect your fragments(applies to everyone) f2p, whale, dolphin, everyone must do it, you'll be surprised how much you can get by doing it, you can get like 300sq in like 3.5 months, not bad for anyone
One must be patient to get their precious saint quartz. To taste the saltiness from their tears. Though, whether it was tears of joy or tears of sadness, Only Kirei will answer it.

Okay so i wanna drop in my two cents of what i do for saints quartz. I do daily logins. Play the story mode and don't use the saint quartz to revive my guys. Else i can use the command spell or i know i can win the fight don't even both playing for a time being just focus on the logins. Work on servants you already have. Max them out and get quartz by doing there side stories and rank ups. Play the free mode areas cause every ten, along with every ten rank up quest, and side stories you get ten more quartz. In the japanese version they give you shards after every mission so save those and do the weekly mission. weekly gives 3 quartz and that three can be a game changer at times to be honest. Do use your friend points to get more servants else the ones you have are maxed out because honestly i feel like it's waste of time to get more servants to work on when you have a crap ton of them not done. Join on certain events that will give items and stuff or quartz and overall don't use quartz to revive your team only command spells.
as a veteran that started to play again recently (which I might regret later but I don't care), during my long break playing other games. I learned that self control is pretty important if you want a certain item in a game

I woke up at 1:03 in the morning and did 2 singular roll in the Nobuanga roll and on the first pull 3 star nothing too crazy and then on my second roll before The animation finished playing I had fallen back asleep, and when I woke up and opened up my phone I had rolled the 5 star. I cried for 10 minutes
Opened second account like 2 weeks ago, rerolled until got 2 SRs, Herc & Marie starters. YOLO rolled on each banner, got Carmilla, all Oniland rate-ups, 2 SSRs, Neet-hime feels comfy while I'm still in Septem and Illya finally gets reunited with BASAKA...))) AND MAIN ACCOUNT GOT NO SSRs AT ALL!1!131%^& But a ticket got me best girl Liz.
