what i've run into with all these automation tools, even the ones currently being hyped up all over social media is that they are lacking on triggers, tons of actions but very litter triggers, only one that has the most triggers is zapier, with that said I'm still buying this

Can you (or anyone) please share some use case scenarios that are NOT triggers from a Form or WooCommerce action? Like can a comment on a post, or a new user signup, or those sorts of things also be triggers? What other popular triggers can a tool like this work with? Thanks for helping me understand better the possibilities!
With this particular automation plugin it is still fairly new.. there is also Automator WP and Uncanny Automator. Those two will allow you to automate ALOT! And integrate with many many more other plugins. The triggers you mentioned are all included simply because the ones you mentioned are really basic triggers. Check out those other 2 automators.. you might be like Wow!

I have looked at Automater WP and Uncanny Automator and they do look awesome, however they occur as very expensive to me (I am a one-man shop and can only have so many yearly renewals and still stay profitable). I get that the Bit Integrations is still extremely new (and I wouldn't even be looking this hard if the developer hadn't already created proven/successful plugins already and has a good reputation in the community). So I guess this is one of those times that it's really just rolling the dice and see if it pans out. Still for $196 for the Lifetime deal with unlimited sites- I think it might be worth the gamble. Oh, and I also have Pabbly Connect - so if this just integrates with that alone- the possibilities are exceptional! Sorry for my rambling response- but thanks again for the input!

Software development is a continuous process, Bit Integrations released just a few months back, the other integrations plugin with such amount of action and triggers they are not here in just 1 day. We will add more integrations and add more actions, triggers in existing integrations. Hello Paul, great video! Yes, I would like to see more advanced automation. I've been trying to do something similar with Uncanny Automator but I can't seem to make the connections that I'm looking for. For example, I have broken out my website and CRM (FluentCRM Pro) into separate websites for performance purposes. What I've been trying to do is when an Elementor Form is submitted on my website I want to add that contact to a list in my CRM which is on a subdomain. Unfortunately, I have not been successful in creating that integration with Uncanny Automator. I will definitely take a look at this and see if it will do the trick.
I'm not an expert, but I think you should check WP Fusion. What you are trying to do is more likely to be accomplished using WP Fusion than Uncanny Automator. The main purpose of WP Fusion is to connect different WP plugins to your CRM.
Wow that's surprisingly one of the easier things to accomplish. I use Uncanny and Automator WP frequently. Ironically, for what your looking to do, you actually don't need either lol. With Elementor Pro's form you could simply use Webhooks and simply submit your contacts to any domain / sub you want. Personally, I tend to use secured Google Sheets instead of a DB, there are numerous reasons why but most importantly I am able to read / write access data to one Sheet from multiple WP installs and other apps. By having this one or multiple Sheets the data is MUCH easier to maintain, especially when a sheet is used by multiple WP installs.

Yeah, that’s my understanding too. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. If they have a specific vision for how they see it working and also provide integrations with tools like Zapier, Integromat, etc., if the plug-in doesn’t cover it, one of those might.

@@WPTuts this doesn't have multi step. Just teigger and action. If more steps are required, they don't have thay and have said they have a different tool coming out for that, they won't add that to this tool. Makes flowmattic better

I guess that is the eternal question. I guess the answer would be, if this does what you want/need now then get this. If not, either wait or look at alternatives like Uncanny Automater or external tools like Pabbly Connect, etc.

Not really, no. You need to have explicit consent and no auto-ticked consent boxes. I would also suggest using double opt-in as well to ensure that the person signing up is the actual recipient.
There seems to be a limited number of integrations, even with the pro version, and no way to add your own new integrations. In my opinion, this is not ready for prime time. Plus, there are better plugins available for automation, including Automator WP, and Uncanny Automator. However, I am still looking for the best way to integrate plugins with Buddy Boss, via webhooks, triggers, actions and APIs, without having to resort to coding. A plugin with no code functions, hooks, classes and methods would add a great deal of functionality.
I’m guessing that’s why it’s up in AppSumo right now. Early adopter pricing. As it’s not the companies first product and they have a decent track record, I think this is worth a punt at the current pricing for an LTD. It’s the gamble you take for cheap LTDs. 👍😁
Early days for this plugin huh? I see "fewer than 10 active installations" 😬 Seems like a risky buy to me. Doesn't currently integrate with much that I use.
@@mistergeko you took the words right out of my mouth! Sure, Zapier is one of the most fully featured automation tools but it comes at a cost. Uncanny Automater is a great tool, but if you missed their lifetime deal, you are going to have a recurring fee. This gives you options at a very reasonable price and is still a relatively new plugin, so it will surely expand the integrations in the near future.
@@WPTuts I missed the Uncanny LTD unfortunately. I am curious to test this one out for my needs and if I see that I can do stuff with it, I'm going to full stack as this is one of those things you can always help your clients with. I'm also glad that this is not their first WP product so there is hope that the plugin will be developed, maintained and have a long life. Thanks for sharing this Paul! Truly something that I am missing currently in my arsenal.
