Quick comment here: this is not a dream catcher. Even if it looks like one, no matter who makes it, unless it has gone through the proper ceremony, it is not a dream catcher. It is simply a wall hanging.
I was so stressed making this project. I hope I did you justice. I will send a picture when it’s done, but it’s one of the favorite things I’ve seen on RU-vid in a very, very long time. I love the tree of life. They’re all over my house never thought about making a wreath out of them now it’s beautiful.
Thank you so much for teaching us seniors the techniques that we need to make all of the amazing crafts that you do. You are highly blessed and favored by the Lord for He has given you so many gifts to share and you are so loving to share them. You also have a gift of patience that is needed today in this world. Love you sweetheart
If you add a lilbit of glue to your rope it keeps it from fraying so u can add your beads easy. Thought I would share. It works great. Your awesome😄. I love you sense of humour and your so easy to watch! Keep up the great work.
Hi Amber another great video! I love how you explain all the steps you make it look nice and easy, I am going to put this on my to do list to make for my good friend for her birthday 😍 Thinking of you and your children. Happy crafting Canada 🇨🇦
L❤VE IT❣ Out of the ones I've seen, I'm loving yours the best. And I love how you added the feathers 👍This Southern girl has some Cherokee blood on my Dad's side. So the feathers make me think of him (who passed in 2012) and our Native American roots ❤ I've had dream catcher's most of my life, and gave away many dream catchers. And I never knew they have to go through a ceremony to actually be a dream catcher🤔 So I thank you for sharing that. Most of mine come from a Native American school I donate to. But still, I doubt they have gone through that. Thank you for such a well explained video so even us new crafters can follow 🥰👍
Amber, I am so glad I came across your channel! Absolutely, love your unique style, went out and bought some mushrooms, forms, rope, and rocks today and I will be creating your Tree of Life wreath as well as your gnomes this weekend! GIRL, love your humor because this girl has been going through chemo for 10 months now, I haven't stopped smiling throughout your creations, so thank you for that. Wishing you a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day. Thanks for sharing!!
This is so beautiful and absolutely my style. My great-grandma was full blood Cherokee. I never got to meet her cause she passed before I was born. Thanks so much for sharing.🥰🥰
I really like her tree of life style. I had been looking for one to make. It’s nice to know about your heritage. My Mother was Cherokee. Her Family came off a Reservation unfortunately they were not proud of their Indian blood so that wasn’t talked about too much. My Dad had some Comanche. I’ve always been proud of it of my Ancestry.
Thank you for sharing this! It's a gorgeous wreath. I have Choctaw heritage and love everything Native American. Will definitely be making one for my focus wall that I hang family photos on. It'll be a great addition.
Have made several as gifts thanks to you But now I am going to make me one and step it up with the feathers. My mom was always proud of the tiny bit of her Indian heritage. Thanks for showing this addition.
Gurl , this is beautiful 😍. I'll be making this for sure . I think I may add some of my crystals to it as well . I'd like to see a video on how you make your dream catchers. I've always wanted to do those . Much love and light to you.. thanks for so much beautiful diys
I love it’s beautiful. A lot of us have Cherokee blood in our families. My great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee. A beautiful lady. So this brought back alot of wonderful memories. Thanks for sharing I so enjoyed it. 🥰
And it can be a pain to get a CN number nowadays. I think so many people have tried to claim Cherokee, by marginal fractions, and it has made it difficult for a lot of us. Mine was easier because my family was on the Dawes Rolls, but even then, it took tons of documentation.
Wonderful wreath, but the best part is your ability to give directions and your great video placement. The best I've ever seen! Keep it up. You are truly gifted!
I love the way you explain everything you do.. then do the things that take some time off camera, then come back! The 1st one I saw of these, an older lady was making it & it was pretty, but just not like yours! Yours turned out really beautiful & meaningful. My grandmother was Cherokee, so these type crafts really catch my eye. Thank you for sharing! Have a blessed day! 💞💞🙏🏼
This is an AWESOME wreath!! Actually, after watching many wreath making videos, this is the very best & my favorite. It is different, imaginative in design & can represent any family. This can be used as a year round decoration!! 😊 THANK YOU for sharing this!! Definitely I'm going to try it!
This turned out beautifully. I actually make wreaths and sell them locally. One of my friends tagged me on Facebook on a shorter version of this video and asked me if I could make her a version of this. She loves it. I have seen many tree of life wreaths and I have been wanting to try my hand at making one. Thank you very much for taking the time and energy to make a video for us!!
Hello, thank you for sharing your beautiful & outstanding creation! I know this is an old video, but I had been trying to find an awesome tutorial like yours. Honestly Thank you! Your Tree of Life is Super High End✨👌🏼🙆🏻♀️
I love this tutorial I have been looking to make a wreath for my sister and daughter in law and this is perfect Thank You so so much! Hugs Karen 💚💚🌿🌳🌲🏵🏵☺👏👏👏👏
this is soooooo beautiful. i was looking for a new style and i think i may of found it. i am making a tree of life wreath for a friend's daughter and i think she will love this! thank you so much!
OH this is really pretty. I think I am going to attempt this. YOU have taught me to take my time. When I don’t I burn myself. Then nothing is right-so I just slow down. Thank you so so much.
I have been watching your videos for a couple weeks now and you have some of the most awesome ideas. I get so inspired. I love that you don’t do just one type of craft, you do a little of everything and whatever comes to mind. I did subscribe to your channel and look forward to inspires you in the next video.
I need to find some pictures of my wall hangings and put them on Facebook. I do not take pictures of the ones that have gone through the ceremony to become an actual dream catcher though.
That is beautiful!!!! The Dollar Trees near me rarely carry rope anymore. So an alternative I've been looking into is Lowe's or Home Depot 100% cotton twine. I got one of the anchor wreaths from Dollar Tree and wanted to glue shells and wrap it in twine but they had nothing.
Absolutely love this! I am really into nature and saving the Earth so when I seen this I got excited and now definitely have to make one! I love the tree of life!!
I loved your version of the tree of life. It's one of my faves. I made it and posted on Facebook on Friday and sold it in 3 hours and then got orders for 2 more. It's funny, I started making wreaths to keep busy when I broke my right ankle and leg almost exactly a year ago. Last night, I broke my right foot! Guess I'll be making a lot of wreaths these days!
