Easy yet effective way to create background in acrylics/ for beginners 

This is a tutorial to create interesting backgrounds using acrylic paints. The effects can be achieved by beginners, intermediate and experts alike. It is simple yet effective. Can be used to create deep dense forests, fantasy landscapes and also underwater scenes.
The way I approached this piece is quite simple.
First, use colors of your choice to create the base layer. I used 5-6 bright colors for this. Allow it to dry.
Second, Use a thin coat of dark color, again, color of your choice. Before it dries, flick a few drops of water, I used fan brush for this.
Third, use a paper towel to absorb all the droplets of water. Its better to wait for 10-15 seconds, before using the paper towel, so that the water activates the second layer of paint(in case it has started to dry).
Repeat the process to achieve the desired effects.
This creates interesting patterns and textures.
