@@tiffanyhackerspace8377 isn't she wonderful? I adore her cuteness and her accent. She's so funny too! They make a great couple and Harper is so comical and handsome!😍
Yes indeed. I studied Latin and Roman history in school and saw drawings of women with hair like this and I did not believe it could be real. It is and it is stunning! 😎
I'm Italian and I love Pasta Grammar. I can confirm that Italians grow up knowing a lot of Italian dishes and how to cook them, especially the girls. We like to explore all of our food traditions.
It’s because of Pasta Grammar that I now only cook fresh tagliatelle; NEVER AGAIN from the store. Also, because of them, carbonara now looks like a cinch. Love to see their videos showing us Italy. They’re wonderful to watch. Can’t wait for your cookbook!!!
LOVE PASTA GRAMMAR! Harper and Eva, you’ve quickly become part of our family here on our tiny, organic farm. Thank you for all your work AND joy. God bless you both richly and abundantly. 🙏🏼
Thank you so much Oso for the positive feedback! We just started the Eat Drink Explore Channel a few weeks ago. Hopefully it will grow with people just like you! Unwined Live is the name of my podcast where you can subscribe on APPLE OR spotify
They complement each other from different cultures. She teaches him but actually is teaching us the wonderful recipes of real Italian home cooking. You see I come from her home town and she cooks very authentic old traditions Love both of them...
There is so much love in this couple! Great interview, good job. Harper and Eva are soooo adorable! I guess their big surprise which they did not say anything about, could be that their family will extend???? How cute a baby would be in that family!
it's actually suprising how little authentic italian cooking channels there are, at least that are accessible to english speakers. Even among "foodies" and talented youtube cooks, if they make italian dishes it's almost always going to be heavily influenced by italian american cuisine and doesn't actually convey authentic italian cuisine very well or the variety of italian dishes. So much italian american stuff is pasta and tomato sauce in various rearrangements but there's so many preparations of pasta that americans have never even heard of. It's not only cool to see the more authentic version of italian american dishes we're more familiar with but it's also really cool to see preparations for pasta we never even knew was a thing.
When my wife and I stumbled across the channel, we were aww struck by Eva and Harper's ease and natural connection. Their story from the time they met to the many experiences shared here in America and in Calabria are heart warming. To boot, the cooking and style of presenting the recipes is very creative and easy to follow. Congratulations to them on the new location and Chicago. We see amazing things coming their way. Perhaps, a restaurant/merchandise/salumeria? We wish them all the best in whatever they do.
The thing that passionated me, from the beginning, is the incredible thickness and quality of their productions. Every new video lends itself to more readings: the kitchen (not only the traditional ones, but also that "exploration"), the cultural confrontation, the chemistry of the couple, and their genuine humor. You can also make an anthropological reading on the meaning that in different cultures we give to food (a world!). Then, you can guess the great work behind the scenes (preparation, writing, editing, and who knows anything else...), but what is transmitted has an authentic flavor! I followed them almost immediately (I am from the first millennium of your enrolled), and the Sunday publication of every new video has become an appointment for me to unmissable. Pasta Grammar is my favorite YT channel and they are absolutely brilliant (genius). We will still see some good ... and Eva will be the new Marcella Hazan, v.2.0.
Oh wow how cool. Eva was an Italian teacher. I’m so inspired by her story. It’s so interesting hearing about Harper talking about drinking a protein shake and hearing Eva talk about being a teacher to Harper’s parents. It helps bring together the story about their food and give it a good context. I’m so impressed by Eva’s ability to cook something new for Harper all the time. She is so resourceful and knowledgeable! She is also a massive foodie too. I can’t believe Eva was making squash dishes everyday after discovering it for the first time in the USA. She sounds like a super fast learner. I love how there is so much engagement with Eva and Harper’s cooking show. Eva has such a beautiful smile on her face when she hears Harper discuss his experience doing cinematography.
Oh how I love these two kids ! They have been so refreshing during quarantine I look forward to their videos each Sunday morning. A cappuccino, Beautiful Eva and Harper and then Jane Paulie and CBS Sunday Morning what a line up! Harper is a master at pushing the buttons, yet look at the way Eva has taken the time to polish and culture him. Now young Harper is a reliable, viable culinary adviser little would we know that on the evening young Harper walked in with his protein shake his knuckles were dragging along side. Look what she has done with him, how far we have come Harper or should we go by your alias “Chef Alfredo”! Ciao Ragazzi
Everyone should go to Italy after lockdown is over. Probably the best place in the world. Taranto is my favourite city. Calabria has some of the worlds best foods and recipes.
The life after a lockdown... I wonder if it's gonna happen anytime soon!... But if it will my family is going to visit Ischia, Capri, Procida and Positano...
I love Eva and Harper, am a subscriber to their channel and adore their content! Thanks for hosting them, as this is an interview and so enjoyable to watch.
I love Pasta Grammar! As a team their videos remind me of my Italian roots and culture. I love making their recipes and comparing with those taught to me by my Nonna. Bless Eva, she is beautiful and Harper is an Italian brother from a different mother :D
Are you for real! Who in the world not like this? They have taught me SO many cooking methods that I just love now and use. haters just gotta hate, LOL
If I were in their shoes I would MOVE to Italy. They can do their channel there. (But someone should have told this guy that it's EVA who's the real star of Pasta Grammar!!)
Using the kitchen aid meat grinder. after you are done grinding the meat run some bread through it to get the meat out and then use the bread to make meatballs. that's what I do, I also use my Cuisinart food processor to Chop up the meat.
❤🤍💚 You guys are an amazing force combined together. Great chemistry and personalities. I'm Italian and can completely relate to Eva's horror at the way some people treat and cook with pasta. I see a very fruitful and prosperous future for the two of you. You have huge potential to have your own product line as truly authentic Pasta Grammar "Eaten and enjoyed by true Italians" recipes. I hope you two continue to do well. It's a pleasure seeing you both working together and having fun. ❤🤍💚 Eva's accent is just like my Mom's. She is from Castle Mauro in Campobasso in Southern Italy and my Father, same region, but from Casa Calenda. ❤🤍💚 Me? I live in the UK and I'm a real Pasta snob I'm afraid to say! I have to have it cooked in the right way, with the right sauce, from scratch, or I cannot eat it! I love to cook. One of my favourites is Spaghetti with a nice deep rich Ragu sauce made with huge chunks of Beef and belly Pork that has been blipping away slowly on a low heat for about four hours. The house smells amazing, when it's cooking and reminds me it's just like being at my Mom's. My son loves his italian roots and the food and culture of the Italian life style. ❤🤍💚 By the way, my hair is just like Eva's! I have a hard time controlling it because it's so curly and porous. I eventually found something by Loreal called Elvive extraordinary oil - oil in cream, which is a leave in nourishing cream and it comes in a bronze coloured stand up tube with a chocolate brown lid. It's the best I find for my Italian hair and tames it beautifully and it looks so defined. Sometimes when I leave it a day or two and it's humid, I look like a crazy wild person. My hair goes mental literally! 🤣 You can buy it on Amazon for around £7.00 I believe. ❤🤍💚 Anyways guys, I shall be looking out for your amazing Cookbook. Can't wait! Maybe one day eating one of your own product line specialties? Brilliant work. Well done you two. ❤🤍💚 Ciao Bella/Bello You are truly amazing. ❤🤍💚🍝🍷👌
Wow Sue! Your story is inspirational for sure! I definitely can relate as well with the bastardization of some Italian dishes. You should check out our free members platform where we share amazing content and you can participate yourself at www.eatdrinkexplore.com I would love for you to share some of your recipes or even that ragù with us!
@@rbissell4005 Hey Roger! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my message! I really appreciate it and I will definitely check out the channel you mentioned. Pasta Grammar is such a great channel and it was great that you had them on your show. Such a lovely couple. They are teaching us so much and the way they deliver is also nice and chilled and fun at the same time. You did a great job of interviewing them Roger. I hope you have them back again soon. You are an absolute star my friend! Yes I'd be happy to share some of my Italian inspired recipes for sure!😁❤🤍💚
OMG i love them and follow on youtube. Eva hiiiiiiiii ! WHY you wear a nose ring your TOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL you don't need that. Hi Harper. 🧡♥️💛Harper&Eva💛♥️🧡
Roger, nice job with the interview! I’m a first generation American from Sicilian parents and I COOK all the time. I replicate my mom’s recipes of Sicilian food... she was passionate about cooking and now I relive my younger days with the recipes that I was raised on. Real Italian food is based on simplicity and involves simple ingredients. I have my mom’s recipes and I should do something with them to propagate them so they don’t die out,,, I’m wondering how to do that...now that I have retired, I hope to devote some time to collating and categorizing recipe. I enjoyed your interview and would love to maybe speak to you sometime.
Such a small channel but such a great interview! I definitely need to know lore about this cookbook... may be one of the other forms of merch I purchase, and multiple of them for myself, my sister, and my dad (whose claims to be the Italian cook of the family) but we all know it's me. 😁
I can't wait to share the cookbook info with you when it comes out! Also thank you for viewing my podcast! We are passionate about interviewing industry leaders and interesting Innovators! What do you like to cook?
Great, great interview! Thank you so much for sharing everything, Pasta Grammar. Good food, nice family and great couple. Looking forward to your cookbook.
Outstanding awesome interview! I love Pasta Grammar. Eva and Harper bought my pasta love to a whole new level! Thank you! I hit the subscribe button. 👍👍👍
I love Pasta Grammar! Eva gave me the courage to try my MIL's gnocchi recipe, which I hadn't made since she passed over 25 years ago. Plus I now make my own pizza dough :). I look forward to more of their videos and recipes.
Been following since the first video Pasta rules and they have become my most favourite channel never miss a video. Just love the on screen dynamic between harper and Eva its refreshing to see such unique expression on a food channel. Keep up the great work and can't wait for the cookbook to release.
Eva and Harper are the best! For many years the food I grew up on was lost. Just by coincidence, Pasta Grammar appeared in my YT recommendations and I was amazed. Tho my family is from Napoli, Eva was cooking all these wonderful foods my Nonnie cooked. I've never looked back since and have been cooking tons and tons of her recipes. There's nobody like Harper and Eva! Can't wait for the cook book!
I love your channel, thank u both so much for sharing, your channel is so sweet and informative, and I've been watching it forever, and I have tried a few of Eva's recipes witch came out amazing, again thank you for sharing ❤😊❤😊
We, Italians, love know the origins of food, the typical food. There are lot of televisin program on food, se even dutdy at school the Regions, their production...the food has a huge importance. As Eva, it's not unusual love good food and learn about typical food (and Italy is full of different food traditions because the typical and different climate and agricoltural productions you can find all long the peninsula)
Eva and Harper from Pasta Grammar are the best. I have been following them from their first videos. Very down to earth and great instructors of Italian culinary traditions. I always watch their weekly videos from Panama.
