I wish there was a daily commission where you would be able to give delicious food to furina. Considering all that happened, she deserves to be treated nicely.
What it might be interesting is seeing Fischl living with Furina and the former helping her in the preparation of the food. Also remember Fischl dream in 2.8. While she is in Fontaine her dream will become real (which is also directing and acting).
Bathysmal Vishap General: Unless someone intervenes... Neuvillette: Bwah! General! What are you doing? BV General: Uhh... I was just patrolling around Fontaine... Clorinde: Who is that? A Vishap of yours, boss? Neuvi: Yes, Clorinde. His name is Typhon... He's a general in our Bathysmal Vishap Ranks. Typhon/Tifon: You can call in my Narukami style name of "Tifon". Clorinde: Ah... I know you, Tifon.
She's the last remaining piece of his friend left in the world, he's gonna utter break down when Furina dies of old age. Hell, he might actively work towards that never happening.
Nuevilette and Chlorinde actually take care of her in the lore. Nuevilette pays for any expenses she needs. House, food, travel. He will give her anything she asks for. Chlorinde went to her house and dragged her into at least properly unpacking and tidying up the room. Then she went drinking with her. Also Nuevilette may have told Chlorinde about Furina's true identity. Character Story 5 The crisis of original sin was resolved, and Fontaine came under a new order. The affected areas were gradually rebuilt, and the people held high hopes for the future. Furina was the only one with no place in this new world. She was quick to pack her bags and leave the Palais Mermonia, nor did she return to the Opera Epiclese. She simply wanted to leave the memories that brought her so much pain as far behind as possible, and she was uninterested in the debates surrounding her - the Hydro Archon's tale was over, as it should be. But where should an actress who had finished her part and fulfilled her duty go? None could say, and the concept of "freedom" rang hollow. Furina's luggage remained piled up in her new rental apartment, and she lacked all will even to tidy up or get moved in. All she could do was lie in bed and stare at the bare ceiling. Those she knew had very quickly found their place in the new order. Whether due to their strength, duties, or friendships, their importance made them irreplaceable. In circumstances such as these, didn't "free" simply mean being someone who no one needed? Just as she had reached this conclusion, her new residence received its first guest - Clorinde the Champion Duelist. The duelist was shocked at Furina's living conditions, quickly expressing her willingness to pay for better accommodations, a notion Furina expended no small amount of effort disabusing her of. Despite this, she was dragged, however reluctantly, into at least properly unpacking and tidying up the room. Clorinde then explained that she was here to invite Furina to a gathering. The duelist rarely took part in social events, but this gathering was one of old friends, who, as it happened, also knew Furina, and whom Clorinde had not seen in a while, anyway, so she thought she'd extend an invitation. In days past, Furina would certainly have refused, for the greater the intimacy of her association with others, the more difficult it would be to conceal her true identity. The duelist smiled as Furina guiltily lifted her eyes, having seemingly already guessed the latter's feelings as well as her old reasons for snubbing such events. "I don't suppose you have any reason to refuse now, do you?" "Well... I'm not very good at this sort of thing, so, um... Don't you think I'd, you know, be a bit of a wet blanket?" That night, Furina finally got to experience what it was like to revel and drink with friends. In truth, she was cautious at first but was restored to her normal self within two cups - indeed, so much so that at one point Clorinde had to restrain her from leaping onto the table. For someone as reticent as the duelist, the real Furina's explosiveness was quite the surprise. As for Furina, she still knew not where to go, but if nothing else, she now knew that "freedom" did not mean solitude.
Now that you emphasize on the concept of freedom, it would be a nice event for Furina to travel to other nations, or to Mondstadt at least. Though the chance is slim, for players should have played the Archon Quest or they're spoiled of the story.
@@cornflower11they will kinda already be spoiled by the next event already and I like it a lot. I want to see her grow and develope and not being dished to the side after her Arc is done like so many other characters before.
Well done with the animation! So wholesome and kind of Neuvillette and Clorinde to restock her pantry with better ingredients- exactly what Furina deserves after all her suffering 😭
An interesting thing about furina is that she likes to do macaroni, because its easy, but in reality she's probably a good cooking, at the end, his special dish is Pour la Justice, and that means she does know how to make La Lettre a Focalors, and his description it says its a small cake that is considered a Masterpiece of pastry and no enough chef have the correct ability to do correct. Furina is probably just doing depresion meals.
I'd be afraid for my life if my stock of brand new canned pasta sauce got replaced by actual ingredients. That means my house got broken into! Someone contact xiangling. A certain former archon is in dire need of nutrition.
@PlaiB10 I am actually very confused on "creative meals" part. She is close minded to different culture's food or is she referring to those extreme fine dining meals where it is more on flair and presentation than the actual meal and customer
Do NOT contact Xiangling, Furina has trauma from people making “creative dishes”. It’s the real reason she only sticks to pasta and macaroni, because it’s versatile and pretty basic.
Like what the comment below said a commission that would bring furina food would be wholesome as heck. Imagine it being comissioned by either Neuvillette or Clorinde.
Tbf canon is just as wholesome. Chlorinde inviting her out and getting drunk together as Furina realizes she doesn't have to be alone just cause she's not a god anymore.
Although furina is no longer the hydro archon, neuvillette promised to provide the necessities for her to live a second life such as a shelter, some clothes and money for food an such so she wont go hungry
Well made animation💖 After Fontaine Archon quest act 5, it's safe to assume Furina STOLE all our 💕 and it bleeds even if she only struggle with mundane stuff
Actually he said she can stay on the opera house a she want it but she refused before not the bad memories but she want to be dependent not as the Hyrdo archon for Fontaine as Furina de Fontaine (that is actually her last name tbh)
Lets be honest we all agree Furina deserved SOMETHING to balance out all the emotional damage and mental trauma she went through instead of that half assed insult of a Character hangout we got..Yes the song and animation was stunning I whole heartedly agree there. HOWEVER Furina's will to NOT preform and just live freely was more or less cast aside by those honestly selfish cast members.. Furina herself even stated the choice was taken out of her hands. Like dude she stated throughout the entire hangout she did not want to be a preformer anymore she was forced on stage more or less due to circumstance yes, but also because of selfish reasons from the cast themselves. She didn't even want to be acknowledged on stage and was fine portraying their deceased director at the end simply to avoid being in the spot-light that alone should tell the viewer what they did was wrong, she had every right to be pissed off to be honest. She sacrificed centuries of her sanity, all of her divine power as Focalors for a bunch of ungrateful people who more or less either hate her very being, or don't know the real story and still confuse her for the "Mask" she wore all that time, not even seeing Furina for well FURINA.That's just pitiable at this point even I feel sorry for her and I don't feel sorry for many people unless their situation is truly unfortunate.
I think their point was that even though she was being forced, by performing again on stage she is given another purpose in life (which I personally think is not enough as a story quest for this "archon" that sacrificed FIVE HUNDRED years). Just to clarify - I wholeheartedly agree with you! I also wish that they did more for her and dived deeper into her sorrow. She clearly has been bottling up some feelings for all this time and all she ever really wanted most when suffering loneliness was companionship and someone to confide in. I wish that they had her talk about how lonely it was and that she did good. Plus ALL of the travelers I see pretty much wanted to give her a hug and let her cry her eyes out. I guess they did talk in Poisson but I feel that it is severely not enough. Give her that hug damn it!
@@fooo0pwhen did traveller ever hugged someone at all? The only person she hugged is Paimon, even though there were lots of possibilities and needs to hug another character...
Furina should have gotten the dango date, and Ei should have gotten the guilt tripping/ bullying them into doing something she doesn't want to.. And that's coming from someone who likes Ei..
While I agree with this, I also don’t think leaving her alone to her lonesome is any better. The entire point of her story quest, is at the end of the day, she is able to find a newfound purpose in her life now that she’s free from her burdens. Granted the earlier parts of the writing were messy but saying that the story quest itself was half-assed is also a bit of a stretch considering it was painfully obvious Furina needed that time outside with other people again. Even if she had to be forced into it because news flash, sometimes people need to be forced back into things to make them realize that they still do want something out of it. I still want that hug tho, Mihoyo.
@@LoneWolfMikoto Oh what I meant when I said travelers was the players haha. sorry about the misunderstanding. I think it's safe to assume lots of people want to give her a hug even if it is probably impossible to actually happen.
