Discovering Outback Queensland's Dinosaur Trail.
We start this adventure at the Flinders Discovery Centre in Hughenden QLD. This is a great place and very informative. There is a life size replica of a Muttaburrasaurus along with many fossils, information boards and even a shearers display.
A quick swim in the local public pool was needed as it was quite hot. The boys made friends and spent a couple of hours just winding down.
Richmond QLD was the next day where we visited Kronosaurus Korner. This place is absolutely a highly recommend from us. Dougie totally geeked out and spent the whole time listening to every single audio information point in the museum. The fossils were amazing. I am sure I could have left Dougie there all day. :-)
We finished the day by heading out to Porcupine Gorge. Its an amazing geological formation and very pretty. Unfortunately due to sickness, the heat and flies we didn't get to hike to the bottom on this occasion but have put it on our list of things to do next time around...
