09:20. You won’t see this in any other country. rain, a bloke sat at a busy junction with his own table and chair eating a pork crackling sandwich and a bloke in his beach clothes walks by. Love this country
@@hamzah5622 I've been thinking the same thing the last cpl of days, he's having fast food every day of the week. Too much salt and saturated fats. Eating his way to a heart attack
Being from Alabama (USA), I thought we were headed to “Betty’s”. But I must say that I’m extremely proud of myself! I’ve watched so many of Danny’s videos that I’m actually catching on to the accent (which I love). Absolutely love you and your gentle soul. My favorite RU-vid channel. Congratulations on all of your success. It’s been an absolute pleasure seeing your channel blow up!! Sending lots of love and well wishes from Bama.
Being from Georgia I was thinking Betty's also. Lol. When I think of a pork sandwich it's chopped with barbecue sauce. But that looked awesome. If I was in the UK I hit every spot he's been to.
@@keithwalker1780 Exactly!! But he’s loves pulled pork but I’m sure it doesn’t compare to our bbq (as we call it down south). He’s needs to tour takeout from down south. He would absolutely fall in love with our food. Also, I agree with you. I would love everything he’s eaten. But now I’m obsessed with a full English!! Even looked up on Amazon the right beans to order. But don’t think I’m ready for blood sausage quite yet. Lol
@@heatherpeoples4073 New Jersey here. Blood sausage is amazing. Really tasty. Irish pubs and taverns in the northeast US will serve it if they do a breakfast! Try it!
As a full blooded English man, a full English breakfast isn't complete without black pudding (blood sausage as you charmingly call it 😂😂) & where black pudding is concerned just don't think about what it actually is, just relax & eat it along with everything else... think you'd be pleasantly surprised how good it is
I love the way he just body shames himself he honestly doesn’t even give a toss about what people say or what he looks like he’s such a positive guy I rate it a lot
Body shaming was invented by the fattt sjws so they can justify why everyone hates them for shouting punching kicking and hurting people who are not fat.
I'm from Sheffield and miss living there everyday. You took me right back today Danny, never been so happy to see a video pop up on RU-vid. Go on my son.
I realise this is quite a deep and meaningful reply lol but honestly if you really miss a place then you should try your absolute best to move back there! I lived in Sheffield for three years due to my husband’s job and it really is a great city. I can see why the place has such a high level of graduates staying there to settle down after they have finished their studies. Sadly, although I had some wonderful times there, it never really felt quite like home to me … due to being so far away from where I’m from… many years later I’m finally making plans to move back to where I want to be.. but if you really miss the place then just go for it if you possibly can, there is no feeling like being settled somewhere!
I enjoy everything about these videos, Danny is a very likable character, the professional audio and video quality, absolutely everything. I’m also very grateful that he keeps his vids family friendly and leaves out all swearing. I hope that he shoots to the very top. Soon, it sure looks like he’s headed that way.
Although Danny is doing a great job and definitely getting lots of subscribers quickly there is another one of his countrymen who has excelled much quicker. Bald and Bankrupt has been doing his channel for just over 2yrs and he has almost 3 million subs, he had 1 million in first yr. Both are successful because they have great magnetic personalities and straight forward content.
You are 1 of the fastest climbing to gain subscribers on youtube .this is because your a down to earth Yorkshire man. And people love you for your true honest opinion. keep climbing.
My daughter & I were trying to work out where Danny was in our city because there are quite a few Beres Shops ...Daughter recognised her bus route to work then I recognised the road Danny drove along as my mate's road!! X
Some people are addicted to crack.... and some people are addicted to Danny's charming personality. It's just the way of the world. Now then guys... let's watch some Rate my takeaway.
He'd lose his individuality on TV, having to answer to accountants, this way he does his thing his way, plus earns a few quid off RU-vid, everyone happy
So I was born in South Wales, grew up in Canada, moved to the US. And that"s when I first heard the true Yorkeshire accent. My Welsh upbringing allowed me to interpret what he's saying. Danny. Well done. You are supporting independent businesses at a hard time.
My days are no longer complete unless I hear 'ho ho ', 'oh ma god', 'now then, how're ya doin', or 'that's gorgeous'. Keep up the good work, Danny and cameraman.
People like you, and the wonderful vibe you bring. The blend of personality, tradition and an open mind. Together with the beauty of cities and countryside. Makes England so very very very beautiful and mamgic.
I think it’s strange because people just think of London or cities when they think about England not realising some of the land scape seas wild parks and much more are actually breathe taking .
@@brokennative114 couldn't agree more, I'll never forget the long drive to Bath underneath a tunnel of intertwining branches. And the astonishing sights of which I could catch glances between the trees.
@@chris55515 Leeds Utd fan in piece here, I was hoping Derby would go down but it wasnt to be. Sad to see Yorkshire sides getting relegated. Wednesday owe their existence to the blades, always remember that
I have to say, you lot up North get it SO good when it comes to food. We get the same chicken cottage and Kebab shops regurgitated in every southern town
Hey mate, my wife and I love your videos and today travelled from Derby to Sheffield to try this pork sandwich. OMG it’s awesome , can’t wait to try some of the other places you’ve shown us. Keep up the great work and all the best.
Gotta say , the sound is fantastic on this video. Some videos are usually off, but the settings are perfect for the music during the cinematic take! Keep it up Danny and camera man! Absolute lad!
@Modern Classic Collectables it's like when someone has bad teeth he comes over and says hallo and you say hallo fuck teeth your being honest but why even bring it up? I seriously want to know why you would bring it up I mean do speak to people like this in real life as well when a fat guy walks up to you do immediately bring up his weight?
Oh Brilliant! When I lived in Sheffield in the 70s, The Nursery Pub on Ecclesall Road (S10) used to serve hot pork sandwiches to die for. I've never seen anything like them again. Well I live down south now so I'm to blame. But here they are... it's good to see that great tradition is still alive there. Thanks. Now that's worth a trip from Hampshire.
I have never seen a sandwich like that in my whole life. Danny, you are such a pleasure. If I lived in the UK I would go to every one of these places. Did you see the car with the family gawking? LOL. What is that?? Oh it's just Danny sitting at his little table in his little chair making everyone love him in his gentle way.
It was owned by Sandor and was just one small shop. I believe he gave his wife a shop and it’s just grown with all their children each having their own shops. Sandor was a lovely man and I used to call to the one behind the Sheffield Wednesday ground before a game and he always used to put extra crackle on. I think Mr and Mrs B would be very proud of their family 💖
Thanks Danny for showing how good these small bakery shops are!!! Far better than than the big corporate ones! We need shops like this in Manchester!!!
My daughter has just asked same question, you can't beat a Beres Pork Sandwich, my family have them as a treat now & again ... Beres Pork Sandwiches are famous all over Sheffield & Beyond... My longtime mate Sharon lives on the next road to that shop, we live a few mile away! X
Can’t watch the video right now but letting it play while I hang with my mates to support Danny and give him another view. One of the greatest new channels, fantastic bloke and wish him the best.
BVM uploaded a fat hippo video just now, and it seems, even if you mention RMT in the comments, they disappear?? weird. I was hoping BVM might address the big elephant in the room with regards to food channels on YT.
These little neighbourhood bakeries do some cracking sarnies. There used to be one near me that did a cheese and onion roll like you've never tasted in your life.. Doesn't sound much but a beautiful freshly baked crusty roll with a slab of the tastiest cheddar, so strong it makes the roof of your mouth itch, real butter and a cross section of a white onion - the entire thing with all the rounds, just sliced through and place on top of the cheese. Food of the Gods!
I travelled from Hull to Sheffield last week to get a beres pork sandwich as I haven't been to Sheffield in over a year due to the virus and not been able to visit Hillsborough for the football. The jumbo pork with all the trimmings is like a dream. Love your videos mate. 💙
You Sir have great taste. I admire your determination to get your hands on a Béres Hot Roast Pork Sandwich. That's some drive from Hull to Sheffield and back. I salute you Sir.
As a proud sheffielder who lives 1 mile away in Hillsborough from this bere’s I can honestly say this is one of the highlights of sheff! If you travel to sheff to try beres by the way don’t worry because you’re spoiled for choice as bere’s is a chain of about 10 shops all over sheff! Also, if you go try the caramel slices they do, they rival the sandwiches! Great review Danny thanks for reviewing a local hero 😁👍
We have a Beres at F.P. so pop there now & again or the one on Herries Rd near Dev if visiting the area I grew up in..... Do you think the outside needs toasting Jay?? It's a NO from me, it would spoil a superb Sheffield Sandwich...
I live on parson cross so I go to that one a lot tbh tho beres pork sarnies are prob best in country I've travelled country a lot an I've never had a pork sarnie that tastes as good as beres
As soon as the world opens up again I'd like to see Danny trying takeaways all around the world. Street food in Mexico, Thailand, Morocco, burgers and barbecue pork in the US, local specialities in Istanbul, Tokyo and Argentina. Would love to see that!
As soon as you're allowed, get across to Sheffield, try our famous Beres Pork Sandwich,we are the greenest city so plenty of parks to walk your sandwich off afterwards, Hillsborough Park is lovely & just down the road from this Beres shop at Parson Cross ..
I used to go to this shop at least once a week when I worked in that area as a rep. No I live thousands of miles away, these are one of the things I miss. Highly recommended these sandwiches.
The sugar levels dropping. Lucky that the held it together without any road or shop rage. He puts that much effort into getting there & entertaining us, it's a relief that he enjoys what he gets.
Great to see you in Sheffield. I used to live 5 minutes from there,. Beres is a local institution and I used to have a large French with everything on before every Wednesday match. I quite often enjoyed the sandwich more than the football! Enjoy fella.
It's chuckin it down with rain so i thought, Danny's gonna sit in the car to eat this one but no, out comes the trusty table and chair at a busy junction lol!! Made me smile 😁 Danny, the world needs more lovely, polite people like u 😊
@@zunoyo1028 being overweight increases cancer risk in humans, the evidence is strong for that. A direct link between aspartame and increased cancer risk in humans has never been proven, especially at the low levels you find in sweeteners. Conclusion? If you’re worried about cancer, aspartame is better than sugar.
Eaten many of these, had the last one down at Herries Road branch opposite the Stadium some weeks ago. I have to admit it wasn't the tastiest pork of all that I've had. Very tender but that Beres pork taste just wasn't there. Love their pots of dripping. Which branch was this filmed at, was it the one at the top of Herries road?
