In this video, I showed up in a Chinese village and got into a conversations with some locals while looking for Chinese food. Because I spoke the Chinese language with them, we had great interactions. I also tried the new Chinese food called 麻辣烫 (Malatang) which a hot spicy hot pot but cooked in a special way.

I made the first mistake the first time i had hotpot. I added so much food and I could barely finish. They don't charge by the weight of the ingredients here. They charge an all you an eat price and charge you extra if you don't finish.

Mr. Tommy, thanks for sharing this video. Your mala tang was so inexpensive! I was surprised you were able to finish that huge bowl. I tried this dish before but it was so expensive $14.99/lb! We didn't weigh our bowls until we got to the cash register. 1.24 lb=18.59 & 1.95 lb=$29. 23,after taxes & a fee for employee insurance =$53. 61! It was good, but too much food. Took home half for another meal! 😅 Take care! Pace yourself for eating, don't eat too much in one sitting too often, not good for the gut! 😂

Evethough it’s in the rural areas the market place looks pretty clean. The food was yummy but unfortunately I can’t take too spicy food. I guess they have non spicy as well. Well thanks for sharing the video and hope to see more content about Shenzhen in the future. If possible the DJI company where cameras, drones or other electronic stuff are manufacture. There s a lot of fresh food, in soup, extended more & more. You can get 1/2 plates /bowl, put all food outside, drink the good soup later. Enjoy the noodles topped with meat & veg.
