Every time Danny gets asked for a pic when he's sat waiting for his order, he asks if they have eaten anything from that place. You cannot get a more honest review than that.
@@LHyoutube Hi LH, there's also the term 'salad splodger' in our gaff; cozz our lass covers her salad daft with salad cream. She hits the carton like a maniac, and up turns it upside down while squeezing . So it makes a dodgy noise while making her salad disappear under a mountain of salad cream
Hello Danny. Thank you for bring us to a Thai take away. I have had the pleasure of eating all the dishes you had today. Bamboo looks like a high quality place judging just by how the dishes looked. The "sticky rice" was meant for the laarb-salad. You pinch a small ball of sticky rice and then pick up some of the salad with your fingers and eat them together. Finger food. All the green things on the plates are meant to be eaten as part of the main dish to give you a multilevel flavor experience. I'm glad you like your dinner. The hard part about eating at a Thai restaurant is that when you go back, you want to order what you had before so it can be a challange to try and order some of the other dishes on the menu. I will recommend that when you go back, that you try Thai basil beef stir-fry. Magical!

People always said you shouldn't do the weekly shop on an empty stomach. I think the same might be said for Danny's vids. If I'm not hungry at the start, I certainly am by the end. :)

I've lived in Thailand for 10 years and have always said that the British would love larb moo (the first dish Danny eats) as it's essentially just mince meat with spices and is epic.
I loved it so much I started making it myself, the grinding of the cooked rice is the hard part but always worth it!. My local Thai takaway does it without mint though... doesn't seem right without mint to me.
@@FerDoug I know what you mean. The mint just adds that nice extra touch at the end. Well done in taking the time to grind that rice too. I'm sure that takes time, but a well-made larb just makes your day :).
Wow. this food looks absolutely amazing. Thankyou for that review Danny. You do a brilliant job reviewing. Perfect descriptions of ingredients etc..Very reasonable pricing in this establishment too. I would certainly go if i lived near. I love York too..

Definitely try it ... Tom Kha Gai has coconut milk for sure but a lot of the flavor comes from the lemongrass and the Thai lime leaves and the galangal which is like a Thai ginger. It is so good and so unique.
Trip Advisor should have an add-on to include all Danny's ratings, recommendations and locations. A "Danny Rating" should be mandatory and should be displayed above the "Hygiene Rating" of the venue.
This vid was just pure theatre on any level, the setting looked to be on the forecourt of a top of the range car sales garage. But the selection of food was perfect, This was Danny with almost a Mark Wiens moment with the rolling eyes and WOW... But a OH MY GOD not once but thrice gave it authenticity. Well done to all the Team Danno...

Watching Danny’s videos from locked-down Sydney, Australia is getting me through the day. His visit to Bamboo Thai has motivated me to find an authentic recipe for the Thai Coconut Chicken Soup. Love cooking and can’t wait to make it from scratch. Gonna make a point of visiting some of the takeaways next time I visit the UK. Covid permitting ofcourse. Thanks for cheering me up Danny. Out of all the places you review Danny, this place has to be up there. Food looked amazing. Service was amazing. Thai people can never do enough for you. Soup? Who ever looks at a menu and orders soup? But I think this would be the first thing I'd order if I was lucky enough to live near here.Off the chart to say the least
