It hurt me to the core seeing how brennen was being rude to his mother first when she asked that she wanted some on the first dish and he refused then rudely interrupting her when she was trying to talk from time to time again and then she very sweetly offered her lasagne made my heart break 🥺😞
Paulina Gilbar no he didn’t? What video are you watching? It was a really fast remark, he didn’t look sad at all lol. I swear, fan girls fabricate things about their idols and influencers to make them seem more cute and genuine.
@sdgagd fsafasdf You right but she could come from another country. It s a nickname on youtube that means nothing. However what he said is not right because al dente means that it is neither raw nor soft, hot. Al dente can be considered the perfect cooking for pasta, but it still depends on a person's preferences: there are those who prefer it al dente and those who prefer it a little further on.
Good Italian food hits me right in the feels. This all looks amazing. I’m happy you got to experience that with your family, and thanks for sharing it with the rest of us. 👍
You guys know how to eat italian food (and WHAT to eat!) As a German and italian food lover, i love to see that. Italian food is best Brennen, great choice on that Carpaccio
Pasta needs to be a bit harder, especially in Italy. This is called "Al Dente", as you already mentioned in the video. If pasta is al dente, you can often tell that its a good restaurant.
Brennen is sure enjoying his life man! Eating good food, going to places, seeing the world, eating bad food, how I wish I could quit my job and enjoy life like this!
@@shannonhamm2382 a tiramisu is layers of sponge cake soaked in coffee and some kind of liqueur with powdered chocolate and mascarpone cheese. So no, it isn't pudding and cookies
@@darramuldoon7745 Ladyfingers, not sponge cake. Yeah, they're basically the same thing as a sponge cake...except that they're a type of cookie, not a cake.
I have to say that lasagna looked really good. My late grandma used to make it from scratch and I could see a likeness, her lasagna was the bomb. It is labor intensive but you can make a big batch and freeze some of it to be eaten over a few day time period. That lasagna was homemade and their is a big difference between homemade lasagna and pre made lasagna.
Lol sometimes when I listen to Brennen talk I start to remember the days of when I use to add long sentences to essays to meet the minimum word amount requirements lol
Zoe Thompson there are several types of noodles with pasta being a singular type while it is technically not improper to call pasta noodles, it is not their true name
Ok I know you do reviews and stuff on your channel now, but you and Colby never do anything together on either of your channels anymore. And yes I know you are on the road a lot to do these reviews but I miss shipping #Brolby those times were awesome. Hope you see this. (Probably not lol)
Have you guys ever done an AMA? If you haven't, maybe you should consider it. I always have questions about the locations and the people you meet. Like, have you guys ever had a Karen scream at you for filming anywhere? Have you ever been kicked out of a place for filming? How often do you run into fans? Stuff like that. Also, I always love Jake's shirts. :)
Noor Zz I APPRECIATE U DONT WORRY I’m Puerto Rican and Arabic is one of my favorite foods and actually I ate two days ago ughh one of the best cuisines in the world
Yo I just reported a racist comment against Arabic people. Btw I LOVE Arabic food. I have a Arabic friend so ya. Im so sorry you had to have dealt with these racist statements.
One of the best things about Italy is that WHEREVER you go you can find some great food..but you need to visit different places in order to find it, cause Italy is so small but also so big at the same time! that's one of the reasons why you shouldn't just visit the more obvious places like Rome, Venezia..Firenze..(of course those are amazing too), there is so much more! The small villages with so much history and art, the sea, each regione is different and amazing You're missing a huge part of our culture visiting always the same places Even Italians need to learn that
I love watching this video! I had reservations to tour London, Paris,, Switzerland and through several regions of Italy last summer , however Covid has been a situation, I didn't know anyone to care for the cat and did not have a traveling companion. I'm still stuck here in San Francisco. I so wish I could travel, to even visit my sister and mom outside of Sacramento, my older son in Nashville, but thank you for you reviews. Maybe someday I'll get to tour Europe and experience things. Good care!
Hey Brennen and Jake, Keep on hustling with your vids. I enjoy that you have a variety of differnet views, and I love to watch what comes next. It’s so great yours truly Alex from NM
Aaaaawwwww...I love lasagna! That looks SO good! I've never watched a food video before where it made me want to cry because the lasagna looks so good! lol! I miss the days when my mom made a huge dish of lasagna, but that was back when my brothers and I didn't eat as much. Nowadays, she probably would need to make several dishes of it. Ah, man, I miss it!
