I had a ton of fun recording this one! I think I'll have to head back to try the other items at some point. Should I??? Also, while you're here, if you're into podcasts, make sure you check out our theme park + travel podcast we've been doing since 2014! tdrexplorer.com/podcast
#Legend. I love seeing Pokémon Center merch! I was in the exact same one three years ago and got lost on the way of finding it - so your directions are useful!
Omg!!! I NEED to go to this Pokemon Cafe! I'm a proud first generation Pokemon Master. My first Pokemon was Charmander. Who else here is a proud first generation Pokemon master?
Thank you for sharing this experience! I miss Japan so much and I wish I could be there to enjoy those treats too😭 Seeing how each plate is decorated made me so happy, especially the dessert. It's just too cute! Legends! :)
Greeted by the shiniest of Snorlax 😍❤️🤩 The whole menu looked delicious, thank you for sharing! PS have you seen the new Chip and Dale Brick Headz Lego? So cute!
I love themed food!~ LEGENDS say that cute themed food makes life much more enjoyably haha. Just randomly using the keyword here lol. I would have love it much more if all were pikachu though. Love pikachu sooo much. And i love the video. Thank you.
Thank you for showing the cool Arceus themed food. I came here before the plague started in 2019. Pikachu the chef came out and greeted everyone. Do the mascots still do that?
That's what I call synergy! From what I could tell, a lot of the tables around me also got at least one of the seasonal items too. Thank you for watching!
Btw, don't mind me asking your perspective on Japan. 1) Do you consider Japan as a highly developed and advanced country ? 2) How would you personally rate Japan (from culture to technology, architecture, food, local products, scenery/landscape, standard of living/quality of life, etc.) on a scale level of 1 to 10 ? 3) How would you overall describe the characteristics of Japanese people ? 4) If you have 3 or more words to describe Japan, what would it be ?
Thank you for sharing this video. I’m currently playing Pokémon Legends and I would totally get the purple potion bottle. Did the potion bottle had candy inside of it?
Last time I was there I got the gengar drink, Pikachu curry rice, arcanine latte art and Eevee Sunday. Wasn't the cheapest of meals, but it was cute AF From your video it sounds so much more mellow, it was so noisy because of the always happening shows
I think cause of the state of everything happening, they aren't doing the little shows for the time being. Pikachu didn't come out at all when I was there this time. Thank you for watching!
Awesome Pokemon stuff! I want to go to the Pokemon Cafe and any Sailor Moon Cafe but right now I have to wait for Japan to open back up for international travelers. Will you be checking out the Sailor Moon stuff coming to Universal Japan this year? Legends
omg!! i need to go one day! Thanks for sharing. Quick question how hard is it to live in Japan? Are Americans allowed to move to Japan and bring their jobs with them and work virtually? My company is virtual and they would let me work from anywhere just as long as i have internet access. Just curious how hard it would be to get permission once the whole Covid thing was back to normal.
Thank you for watching! I'm Canadian, so I can only speak to my experience. To live and work here, you'll need a work visa and a company based in Japan that can sponsor your visa. It's best to speak with a professional with specific questions, so don't take this as legal advice haha.
I would love to go there, that's on my bucket list, how many theme restaurants are there ? And we're is the best place to stay if I want to explore the city and go to Disney.and how many days do you recommend I should stay to explore? Thank you for sharing you videos so interesting.
when I went to the pokemon cafe with my fiancee we got turned around, I think we passed the building twice or so looking for it, on the outside until you got close it looked to me just like every other building and even with the gps on my phone I got turned around. I went 2 years ago btw, going back to Japan again next year. XD I do have a question though I wondered from when I went last time. Where in Tokyo is the best place for omirice? The place i went to it was good, but a bit dry.
This is incredibly Gourmet. But I guess its kind of like the ornate bento box culture. Very clever how they break down the colors of the pokemon into ingredients.
Hiiii! Not New un your channel but I suscribe, love every video that You have Made. And this one is SO SO yummy and beautiful, it's good to know how it's the foods in those cafes
After going once i thought I’d be content not going again, but over the years they’ve been putting limited time dishes on their menu with every holiday and game release 😩 I hope I can go again during a new game release.
Man I hope they are still doing some of the Legends stuff when we eventually go there. So cool. And definitely need that tip from Tokyo station I feel like we are going to get so lost around train stations in Tokyo
Thank you for watching, Sarah! If that's something that interests others, I'm more than happy to! I've done a few vlogs in the past like the Kingdom Hearts Cafe back in 2020 (oh gosh that seems so long ago).
i went to japan in 2018 and didnt think of going to a pokemon cafe. i wish i did. when i go back i gotta goo... i went to the pokemon center tho such an amazing experience
Honestlt i wish they had a pokemon cafe here where i live id love to just go and eat there and have fun and even try to catch more pokemon on my shwitch lol
Damnit, why don't I live in Japan lol I have been trying to learn the language and I am in a "in demand" profession, but man is it hard to get a holiday nevermind go there to live lol It's the stuff of Legends
Legends! Pika pika pikachu... i love all of things pokemon! Love the food, it looks tasty and great job buying that keychain! Ahh I also want one. Someee dayy! Lol
Yes! I hope the borders gonna open soon. I really wish to travel and explore Japan esp the Universal Studio. Thank you as always. You make my day filled with joy with your videos. Always take care Chris. God Bless.
We have similar tasteeeee I would’ve ordered the same! Also love houjicha and warabimochi. Can’t wait till I can go back to Japan to try again…cry living vicariously through you
Legends! Loved the video Chris, I never got the opportunity to go to the Pokemon Cafe when I visited in 2019 but had managed to go to the Mega and Skytree Pokemon centers which were amazing! Also I love the new game and the Hisuain Pokeball design/keychain! 🥰
Legends! I want the pokemon sushi. The whole dish looks good. Thanks for posting this today I'm on the edge of needing hospitalization for mental health problems and this video was the first comforting thing I could find.
I don't know specifically, but my guess is yes. I didn't have time to ask, sadly. Usually how things work is they'll have specific items that are allergen free since they don't alter the other dishes. But, I'm not sure how they do it here specifically, I'm talking generally speaking at cafes and restaurants. I checked the website and it says to ask the staff, I'll have to do that next time I'm there. Thank you for watching!
hi Chris I love Pokemon but it has been a long time since a play videogames my last console was play station 1 and m y sister had xbox 360 I need to play again 🦒
Oh gosh, haha, I'm actually working on the CC as we speak. I didn't have time to get it done before I wanted to upload it. Thank you for watching, Ryan!
Theses cafes are usually more about the looks than the taste. Out of the themed cafes though, the Pokemon Cafes are generally better than other ones. I did the Kingdom Hearts popup a few years ago and it was ... just OK. Thank you for watching!
