He might have eaten well but it's not good for his digestion system. U can mess his stomach up. U guys ask your Dr's. How old should u start feeding babies. 4 months
It used to be start them around 6 months. Our pediatrician said they should be able to sit up on their own when they start. This must have changed because I see very young babies like this one quite frequently being fed solids and cereal.
This beautiful baby is too young to eat cereal- he wants and needs milk . Who told you that he wanted cereal this baby wants milk / formula. I’m concerned and so upset, try when he’s 4 months. Stop calling him big boy he is only a newborn. Don’t give him fruit too you idiot woman. I would take him away from you. So freaking American, obesity runs in your blood and your veins.?Poor baby God protect this baby please 🙏
I know this was 14 years ago, but just curious why feeding cereal just eight weeks. Clearly, the baby seems to love it. Just didn’t know that it was recommended that early.
@@Jacayrie really? My son slept through the night when he reached 10 lbs at 2 weeks.... our pediatrician said they usually sleep though the night when they reach over 12 lbs - so yes they do sleep through the nights at that age and younger.
I fed. My babies Cereal at 12 months. It was best thing I could of done. They both had allergies to Milk so they would not starve I gave them Cereal. They loved it and did great.
Had my 9lb 12 baby on bottle with Farex mixed in at 3 mnths.Fully on solids and cows milk at 6months.Big healthy 60 Yr old now.!!! Every baby is different.
He is absolutely too little for solid food. Yes he can eat it but the stomach isn't mature enough to handle solid foods and hes starving so that's why hes crying. He should be on the continuous flow of a bottle. But the baby is darling
I fed my baby at 6 weeks but then he weighed 11 lbs. at birth and a bottle wasn't enough. He is a healthy adult with no medical problems. He is now 32yo and over 6 feet tall. I could never have waited 6 months. Doctors recommend waiting til 6 months because a bottle is all that is necessary but it doesn't mean you can't . He is loving it.
Bonjour les coliques a cause des intestins pas matures ! Mais dans ce cas là ne lui donnez plus de biberons et hop les petits pots à la naissance ! Vous ne voyez pas qu'il veut son biberon !!!
PEDS RN and we would have started him with cereal in his bottle now, yet he did wonderful with the spoon. Don't you dare tell folks what they can or can't do if you're NOT their doc or nurse.........
Bad idea. No solids before 6 months. I think he is flopping his head around trying to AVOID that spoon. What pediatrician recommended this? This is akin to force feeding. I am a retired RN.
I have never seen such a restless baby. Continuously he is mooving his head here & there. Is he hunting bottle? Or used to breastfeeding? Anyway the baby is now a grown up, well built & healthy man. May God bless him & his mom.
Queremos escuchar los lloros las risas y los ruiditos que hacen per bosotros los padres habláis y gritais tanto, que es imposible ¡¡¡ callar un poquito¡¡¡¡ 🙏🤫
He’s rooting for breast or bottle def eating amazingly well, but does not have the digestive system for solids you’re gambling with his digestive system and what could possibly go wrong
Dont understand the point of rushing to feed a baby at 8 weeks. Typically parents do it cause someone told them the baby will start sleeping longer with a full belly. Not a benefit for the baby, just a convenience for the parents.
He definitely he's too young they say but look at them go Good for him if it sets well in his stomach afterwards then hell you're good to go He's liking that a lot I know it's not going to kill him for god sake right
Loved your video!! Loved your joy with your baby. Way to go mommy! Baby will thrive. Mine did at 8 weeks old as well. Moms need to do what they believe is best for their baby and disregard all the know it all ppl who want to tell you different.
@@echoecholima Ask any parent who has taken a baby to a doctor, knowing something isn't right with it and be told it's only new parent jitters, then NEXT! And btw, you're taking this into your own self ego fight. I won't be attending your soap box preaching. :)
Good for you mom...I just do not understand this 6 month thing at all...Someone came up with that and unfortunatly so many believe it,,,Look how well he did and you will notice a big change in his eating and sleeping habits...Mine were 3 weeks old and did so well
@@mulege because 4 months is the earliest you should give solids. Can't you see him rooting like crazy? He's looking for a nipple. Older babies ready for solids don't do that
@@annaj2181 I sure wonder how all our babies survived in the 60s and 70s when they were fed at about 3 weeks with dr. blessing...There are millions of adult kids that are healthy and survived the feedings...Mine are 52 and 54...We were told to give a real runny pablem (not sure if pablem is still availale) or a loose banana baby food...About 3 or 4 spoons full...Also I have no idea what rooting is...For me it's up to the parent to make that decision and this person did...
@@mulege a lot of babies “survived” the 60s and 70s (myself included) but in case you hadn’t noticed my generation is plagued with rampant obesity, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cancer, gluten allergies, sugar addiction, the list goes on and on of ailments and afflictions that manifest from problematic eating. Rice cereal has zero nutritional value and does absolutely nothing beneficial for infants, the only benefit is to the parents, and why? Because babies are human beings just like the rest of us, and they fall asleep after gorging themselves on empty calories - it’s called a “food coma” for a reason. What part of that sounds good for the child? Did any of you boomers even bother to ask yourselves that question back in the 60s and 70s? Because from my perspective it looks like the medical community teamed up with corporate America and with nothing but some strategic television advertising plus a few clever marketing campaigns they managed to convince the nation that rice cereal was gods gift to humanity. And now my peers and I are stuck paying the price for your short-term happiness and comfort - and doesn’t that sound all too familiar?
If. Newborn. We're pose. To eat cereal there. Would. Be no. Need. To. Give them. A. Bottle. He. Not growing. Up. So. Fast. Your. Making him. Grow fast. May Dad. Well. See. Him. Walk. At. 8. Weeks
Why would u feed this baby cereal???? He needs the nutrients from milk not CEREAL .....if that is the case parents would be feeding babies at birth!!!! Seriously. That's a lazy mother.
@Julia Eleon Jang PEDS RN but thanks for your misinformation. Baby is tolerating the cereal just fine. Even opens his mouth for it. He is NOT too young for cereal. Doctor would have expected she put the cereal in the bottle by now, but he's doing great feeding by spoon. You are clearly not a doctor or a nurse, so what YOU think or YOUR pediatrician says for YOUR baby doesn't make it right for this baby.
Kasihan bayinya.
