Thanks to everyone who sent me messages on Instagram inviting me to their town in Albania or offering to show me around the country. Unfortunately I only had a few days in the country so wasn't able to do anything other than my bunker film and this little one. I will come back one day and hopefully meet some of you then. Falamanderi.
My story with Albanians. Back in 2019 i chose to spend my summer holiday there (near Durres), unfortunately after one day i had to leave back in my country . The second day i receive a mail from the hotel where i stay, inform me that they will wait for me to come back till the end off the season to finish my holiday without extra-cost, (yes i return) thank you .
I really like these guys running the restaurant, and overall have grown a big respect for Albanians by your tour. Such a nice & welcoming bunch of people.
That's because the home made drink they were talking about is made every year by every Albanian and we drink it so much that for us is a soft drink even thou it's way stronger than Vodka
Scott handley control your mouth Albania 🇦🇱 is a Christian country and Albania 🇦🇱 is a Christian country but Albania 🇦🇱 isn't Muslim country and Albania 🇦🇱 is Not a Muslim country
Albanians are the most misunderstood people everyone thinks they are bad people but in actual fact they are the nicest people unless u do something bad to them loyalty is big thing in albania
To all people who don't understand Albanian hospitality: House belongs to God and to a Guest. Another feature of Albanians is: Be a friend with Albanian and you don't need a God, being an enemy with Albanian don't pray it will not save you any God.
Massively changed my opinion of Albania great videos Bald the majority of the people you met were so welcoming especially that family that had you in for a beer!
Well its a big part of our culture that guests are to be treated very well and to be a good host is an honor thats why tourists get often invited home for coffee or beer 🍺 ☕️ and when its almost dinner time also for dinner 🍽 and if it gets too late they will probably even offer you to spend the night 😴😂 happy to see bald visit albania hopefully hell be back soon 😃👨🏻🦲🇦🇱
After the movie “taken” I said I’ll never go to Albania but now I’m planning my next trip there lol vlogging has really showed me how much bullshit my highschool history teachers taught us in the west
albania is a really beautiful country and offers a lot of things in every season of the year, do not miss the opportunity to visit it you will not be disappointed and the people of albania are very kind
@@PyroDREW. no one govemments have make something good in this life for his people or interest of population , all say we belive in god ,christain myslym etc and forget we are the same in god eye, all wants money power , and no one works to live all in peace love harmony , we are destroying our human existence as well as facing each other.
You need to go back to Albania. The people seem so welcoming, and before it gets hit with mass tourism, it is a genuine experience to treasure. I've heard the area on the border with Greece, Ksamil, has some amazing beaches and incredible historic sites that just sit there, waiting to be seen. Stay healthy and keep on giving us these videos!
@@ginofoogle6944 same rule for anyone visiting any country in the world. Often Mafia own businesses they want tourists to visit. If thieves put tourists off, thieves gonna get a time.
Nu shto? No visit to the ex military island of Sazan? Or the naval base just a few miles of Vlora. I know you would have loved the multi story nuclear bunker close to Tirana, now a museum. Poka
Ben your two friends have done more for Albanian tourism than a 5 minute holiday show, so anyone visiting can expect a very warm welcome from Clyde and his mate, well done again Ben
@@ojdon7469 You are welcome in Albania brother. But don’t be surprised when people look at you the whole trip. Black people are a rarity for the People there 🤣 But we are happy to see you. It makes us proud that people that come from other places visit us!
@Cynicalwhy? Kosovo and Vojvodina were autonomous and Serbia just took Vojvodina like its theirs even though it was Croatian and Hungarian in the past... Serbia has no right to just claim territories like that and to commit genocides like it did in Bosnia and Kosovo.
You should visit it! I was positively surprised by the country. When you live in Western Europe you hear a lot of bad things about the country, but when I visited it I only had good experiences, there is a lot of history and culture to learn about. And the people are great as well! :)
Albania is a really beautiful country and offers a lot of things in every season of the year in midle , north and south, do not miss the opportunity to visit it you will not be disappointed and the people of albania are very kind
Anyway lot of them mostly on the coastal side speaks italian. Half of the nation watched the Italian tv and learned from there. And the italian per que? not so far from porque? Unfortunately i know it my gf watching the italian tv everytime.
Let's face it he has been round slums in India, eaten street food and in dodgy restaurants all over, and caught Covid. He is probably a walking freakish, weird cocktail of obscure and medically unknown bacteria and parasites anyway...
Thank you for your videos in albania mr. bald. My late father from Albania passed away early this year, i was only there once but it was almost nostalgic in a way seeing the similarities between my family and Albanians that I've never paid too much attention before. If you are ever there again please make more videos, I'd enjoy it a lot
@@skend3489 three years ago I was at the Orid lake , Korcha, Saranda, Girokaster and Tirana and it was the best vaccation of my life :) best country, lovly people and good hebs too smoke :) I wanted to travel again this year but than comes this COVId 19 shit .....
Its much more beautiful. I love this guy but he literally showed only some left „villages“ where nobody lives since he was searching for bunkers. The cities are amazing and beaches are even more beautiful.
WarezzeraW you’re missing the point as to what bald is about! We don’t want him to visit the tourist spots. He was off the beaten track and met some really good people and learnt something different about a country!
nice guess your correct but only during the transition period as did many other people in all of the iron curtain countries now they are good people with fucked up backstories
I am married to a native Albanian. Living in London. I am well travelled and I can promise you all there is NO place like Albania, and no people like the Albanians! 🇦🇱
@Albanian orthodox A that's his point, the guy is living in London, and from Albania, meaning he likes London more. which is sort of contradictory in seriousness since hes saying there is no place like Albania. it would sort of be like seeing a mercedes car dealer turn up in an audi and proceed to tell you why Mercedes is the best cars to drive.
boyo He said he’s *married* to an Albanian. You do realise that to live in Albania you’d have to adapt to the culture, learn the language, change documentation, etc? Even then you have to leave your family and friends behind to move to an entirely new country. It’s difficult to just pack up and move.
@@ejhdbegbeidishdj9358 Thanks. Well said. Plus I have my career, our daughter our mortgage right. I know some Albanians despise their women marrying outside of the culture. But I embraced the culture and learnt the language so what's the issue. My in laws love me and I take care of my family, at the end of the day that is what's Important.
The excitement of watching some old belarus episode, and then realizing a freshly posted albania footage started playing right after. This is one of the most epic youtube channels out there.
Argjend Krasniqi Bro If you r Albanian...can you confirm me if your internet banking services not working ? Like bank refuses any money transfer now...Is it true?
@@a.arianiti8169 i was in Durres multiple times , very beautiful place and such nice people , every Albanian i spoke with was so nice and welcoming. Much love.
Such an awesome video. Here in the Bronx NY there are many Albanians , their food is pretty amazing indeed. Thanks for the video, also thanks for inspiring people like me to do videos. You're one of the best
I love how Bald always reverts to Spanish when trying to communicate with someone whose language he doesnt speak! Endearing. "Porque?" I hope this video brings the Adriatik Restaurant some business. They seem like nice guys.
I believe that's because there are similarities between Albanian and Romanian, there are pockets of a language very close to Romanian in Albania, and remember Romanian is a Romance language.
@@emilkarpo Its definitely not that. Bald just hears a foreign language being spoken and decided to respond with another foreign language. Albanian and romanian have a few common words but none of the spanish words he used were similar to either languages lol
Looking forward to visiting Albania someday! And the food looks delicious, I’d never considered trying cow brain until now. Really great hospitality from everyone at the Adriatik. All the best! 👌
Albania is a really beautiful country and offers a lot of things in every season of the year, do not miss the opportunity to visit it you will not be disappointed and the people of albania are very kind
@London Lad my friend you have a family now a daughter stick to your family. When you're young its different. I have a lot of friends in uk on job actually but most of them are not bad guys they do it because they have debt to pay they have to help their family back in Albania. When you illegally in uk you dont have much choices as Albanians would pay 10k 12 k just to come on a lorry and trust me that kind of money are the savings of 2 years in Albania
What you're doing it's very important, debunking bad cliche and stereotipe which get attached easily to countries with difficult past and long going economic recession. You're showing to the world the positives side and the great people that all the countries worldwide have to offer, the capability to share, cheer and welcome that just in these places can still be found an admirable humanity to discover and to embrace. Thanks Mr Bald you're doing a great job. Let's do it !!
@Josip Broz Tito Kosovo was only a property of Serbia when they expanded in the 13th century until the 15th century when they lost it from the ottoman troops. It was never yours to begin with. It was called Dardani in the ancient times and it has been conquered by the Roman empire and the Bulgarian empire before you guys so you need to learn more history about that country Also the population was never a majority of serbs as there's no proof of that and the only written proof we have is that the Albanians have been living there
i would watch all day Bald videos in Albania 😍 i wish he will come to Kosovo 🇽🇰 too🙌🏻♥️ btw these last videos in Albania are getting more views in a few days than other videos and this makes me so happy 🇦🇱♥️
@@TabbyAngel2 Thats lovely. I think when we think in a hospitable way, God gives us more, so we can continue to pass it on. We are only wealthy when our wealth is in motion, when it is circulating. As soon as something precious comes to a standstill, I believe it depreciates. I think I'll write a poem about this ;)
Fun fact. Against OTTOMANIA later on when Greece got their independence. Some wrote, cote: Only Albanians would face TURKAYS AMY'S WITH with almost no weapons, and won the wars.
@@djsilversun Young Abanians from Albania (Not Kosovo Albanians) have English or Italian names, because they werent allowed for so many years to have non Albanian names.
My grand grand mother was Albanian. She lived there all her life. I am 69 already and may be it is time to go there forgetting about stress of long transcontinental flights..
I have been to Albania four times. It is a beautiful country full of friendly and helpful people. The perfect combination of nature, history and gastronomy. I am so glad to see you there. I wish I can also visit Albania soon, once again.
When I think of Albania I'm reminded of an old folk tune from a small bar in Boston (where everybody knows your name)..." Albania. Albania. You border on the Adriatic..."
@@Aristocrat1307 we never forget our roots.wedo weddings like albanian style. at least one day of the week we eat albanian foods. our elders speaks albanian well. we visit albania, kosovo and shkup to see our family members. In the other hand we love turkey so much we celebrate turkeys special days. because Great Leader atatürk sad who lives in turkey can call themselves turk. so we mostly say we are half turk half albanian
Vlora has some of the best beaches in Europe.. sadly hardly desplayed in your videos. If you really wanted to see something from the past you should had visited the island of Sazan only few minutes away by boat. It was a huge military centre during the communism era and perhaps the most bunkerised island in the world.
