Cailyn is who I aspire to be. As a proud Disney adult, it took me a LONG time to become comfortable with relishing in my love of the parks. It always seemed so “childish” to be as in love with the parks as I was, even past childhood. But I’ve now found the community of Disney adults who are passionate as well as compassionate to each other. Thank you for flying your Disney flag proudly. PS: My bucket list is also to go to all the parks in the world. If you ever need a buddy on your adventures, come to Canada, Ill be waiting 😅
I feel so validated Cailyn. I did the Bug’s Life thing as a kid and I was so scared!! I hated the feeling of the bugs crawling under the seat. Loved the Stitch 4D ride later on though in high school! Also I took a sip from my hydroflask on my desk and looked up to see the same exact Hydroflask in the podcast haha
Props to Keith on eating as much as he did! My husband and I did 4 days at Disney and Universal last month. Each day we'd have a pastry and iced coffee for breakfast, share a quick service entree (hot dog, chicken strips) for lunch, share some sort of snack (churro, ice cream), and then dinner would be our full meal at like 10pm. By the end of the week, my body was screaming for salad! 😅
Carousel of Progress, People Mover, and Living with the Land are perfect for when you need to relax and decompress for a second! As an adult I love them now. 😂
My grandparents lived in Florida so I grew up going to Disney World - visited the year they opened in 1971. Love Epcot the best and love to visit in the Spring during the Flower/Garden Expo. Have no idea how many times I visitied I am sure it is more than 10. Figment has been at Epcot since it opened.
The kids love looking at pics and vids of old trips. The kids remember maybe from 3-4. But also they absolutely love it and believe it's real as it's happening. Even when they're in diapers.
Is anyone from/near Ohio and remember The Phantom Theater ride at Kings Island?? I feel the same about that ride that Cailyn feels about the Carousel of Progress. Lol it was always my favorite as a kid but then they closed it!
Yes! It was my all-time favorite as a kid, back when it was Hanna Barbera land. I think that is why in Disney World I adore the Haunted Mansion so much, because it feels extra nostalgic to me.
I gotta say, I am not a "Disney Adult" but I also grew up in Orlando and went there an absolute ton growing up, I dont know that I could quantify it. And that was feeling very normal. So I cosign Cailyn that is so Orlando core.
50:00 Yes Cailyn!! I also read Kingdom Keepers when I was younger. I remember going to Barnes and Noble with my mom to get each new book. Freshman year of high school I did a project based on one of the last ones I read.
Cailyn and I are practically the same person. It started when she said she loves Figment and was cemented when she said her favorite ride is Carousel of Progress. I said this on IG and also on the MK video, but going to Disney with Cailyn is probably now going on my bucket list.
I want to be Cailyn’s friend so bad after watching this 😭😭😭😭 Becky!! You need to get the stuffed pepper-jack pretzel at Cheshire Cat, the gourmet pretzel from jock Lindsay’s, or the bacon cheddar cheese dip from cookes of Dublin
Omg, you went to Tokyo Disneyland? The entire team has to go at some point and make a Keith Eats Everything episode there. It's a definite must go-to place. Mhm. 🥤
I literally get all my travel advise and US products advise from you all, I can’t wait to visit Disney World and try some of the things you mention here 💖
Haha I got low key offended with the hate on living with the land. I was a CP at WDW for a year (2014-15) and at Epcot living with the land and the whole land pavilion was my favorite at that park! It’s always a must when I go back!
I've been wanting Eat the Menu / Eat the Menu to come to Disney World. I watched the Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom episodes so far. I wish I could have seen you all here. BTW, I'm on Disney World property about 50 days a year since I moved to Florida in 2019.
I've toured a Golden Oak home! They're insane and huge and expensive and affiliated with the four seasons there as well. Isleworth is a nonDisney neighborhood for the super rich. Lots of pro golfers there.
I just have to say living right off Disney property, yes there are many many multi million dollar homes around here 😭 our housing market is really bad lol, maybe not california expensive but the real estate is crazy!!
So did Cailyn ever do the college program? I feel like most of her fun facts are things you learn through your first few days of training. 😅Maybe going to the parks enough the cast members are just passing that knowledge along too.
Epcot has had a complete facelift in the last three years. You probably had never been to the Moana stuff and all the stores that were in the center are gone.
I love Disneyland and I’ve been going there since I was a kid and I now work for Disneyland. But I wonder if they are allowed to talk about this since they have done stuff at Disney but the problematic things Disney has done towards its cast members I feel like should be mentioned and discussed. Also I have friends who are Disney Adults and I follow Disney influencers but I wonder if they even care about the struggles cast members deal with on the daily from guests but also Disney as a company. But I love hearing about the BTS of this video and hearing about what they did. Love you guys!💖
HARD DISAGREE, DISNEY WORLD IS NOT THE BEST. DW is way more expensive, way more crowded, and there are 5 parks but they each have like 4 rides. Food is worse, hotels are awful and you have to stay on Disney property. I will admit I am a West coast Disney boy and honestly nothing beats the original classic Disney Magic to me.
I am a big fan of this podcast. I’ve been listening for years. But I have to admit it’s kind of sad to see the easy, elitist disregard to Florida as “god the politics suck!!” While promoting the place has caused Florida to be such a hellscape, at least partially. Disney has actively litigated against Florida improving! The only reason they aren’t fans of the governor is because he changed something that affected him. People liking Disney is whatever, but acting like Florida is awful, but Disney World is so magical and great (as well as saying it’s so specifically because Walt, a eugenisit and racist, lived there) is just so hypocritical and very “I don’t live in a state that is actively being affected by these laws.” It was just hurtful to hear.
