The presentation of these videos is very relaxing. I love the lack of vocal narration - reading the text is much more to my personal taste. It's even better because DB often slips some sly humor into that, and her companion's reactions kick the whole experience up some very nice notches. I'm so glad they chose to share these experiences with us on the Tubes.
Well honestly, they got a suite level. If you live in the US, you can easily take a 7-8 day cruise with several port stops for 1.5-2k and a ton of food is included. The Asian RC cruise in this video honestly does not live up to the same standard in my opinion. The Carribean cruises are far better- I'd recommend looking up a video of a normal cabin just to see what its like but there's so much to do it's quite a good value considering you get to visit 3-4 countries, eat any food you want, drink anything you want, and just be taken care of the entire time as if you're a 1st class passenger even if you buy the smallest room in the ship (which I honestly recommend because you barely spend any time there anyways).
@@melabear13241 Ive done a few cruises to nowhere....they really are fab, hardly anyone on board. We had a family reunion on one...over 200 of us. Best cruise ever. Ive also done cruises to other countries...on a time clock and at ports with 3 thousand other tourists and trying not to get ripped off or buy crap you will throw away in a months time. Also all the sightseeing stuff was packed full of other tourists it was IMO ...horrible. I travel to other countries when I can see stuff and immerse in the culture without the hoard of tourists. What Im saying is visiting countries is not a draw card for some. Also having a suite opposed to a inner room....doesnt even touch on it. Sure you may not be in it much, but when you are....ahhhhhhh.
@@melabear13241 Ah ok that makes more sense honestly! I've never been pm a cruise so it all looks cool as hell to me. I've wanted to do one of those " country tour cruises" but honestly being on a boat for more than 5 days is absolutely horrifying to me 💀
@@OnlySlams That's totally fair, however, you should look up a video on how ocean cruises stabilize in the water. They use a really complex giro/balancing system so that you honestly can not tell that you are on a boat about 99% of the time. There was one day that I can recall in the last 5 cruises that was slightly rocky and the weather was genuinely so horrible that day that it sunk a small fisherman's boat and our ship had to rescue them lol. That night, my fiance and I were watching a cirque de soleil performance where someone was having knives thrown at them and you could feel a slight rocking- we were so shocked that they were still doing the performance but it brought on this crazy even more dangerous element that we obviously weren't expecting. We both left flabbergasted at the sight and when we were leaving, I saw the woman who got knives thrown at her and asked her how they were able to do it with such precision when the boat was physically rocking that day (not by much but obviously in a dangerous act like that- any movement is going to change the outcome of the act) and she told me that they actually practice on a moving stage. I was so taken aback- it was incredible, though. You honestly probably wouldn't feel any rocking whatsoever.
"Marvelous! Marvelous! Excellent! Beautiful!" That pizzaiolo must have known that he was in the presence of greatness when you came for a visit! Ah, and I see you had a Long Island Iced Tea, or as one of my fave fellows called it: "This is a Glass of Trouble"!
@@ShOxCooking I saw another video of this Korean young woman saying the same thing about the bacon she was cooking and said the bacon was a good breed. Never heard it said that way either. I guess it just means it’s real good quality bacon.
@@firstnamekaty8830 This comment is totally opinion based but I'll give you my take on what you said. Unless you're a huge Disney fan I would personally disagree and recommend ANY other cruiseline- it's quite a bit more expensive and not worth it at all. I've been on over 15 cruises in my lifetime (lost count) and have never understood the straight brainwash from Disney cruiseline lovers. Question for you, have you been on other cruiselines in the past 5 years? Have you been on a Disney cruise? Or is this all opinion based on youtube videos/other people's word of mouth? I have 2 kids and I would still not choose to do a Disney cruise over another cruise based on price and other amenities.
@@melabear13241 Yes I have. I’ve been on Royal Caribbean and Disney and Disney is MUCH nicer. It’s cleaner, better quality food, etc. And I’m not a “huge Disney fan” btw
You are a very soothing and peaceful Food Reviewer. You are literally my favorite youtuber if I have to be honest. Most Food Reviewers have talking but you only add subtitles. The way you express the taste too, it almost makes me feel like I am eating it myself!
Do it at least once. It's a great way to travel. You go to different countries in a floating hotel so you only have to unpack and pack up once. You can drink as much as you want because you don't have to drive. There really are no deadlines except the last day when you have to disembark. Everything is provided: food, shelter, toiletries, entertainment, library, gym and internet. For extra fees, there are other things like a spa w/ professional masseuses, casino, game rooms, cooking classes, wine tasting classes, art auctions and other things that are different from ship to ship. It's quite an experience.
I love how you show us everything of the food included! The sauce packets or just a total 360 of the food, it really gives such an experience! Thank you!!
All the food looks so delicious, Its just so much, I would gain twenty pounds., lol. I wish you would tell us about yourselves, I have been watching for two years and I dont even know your names
Those mini cereal boxes are a camping staple where I'm from, but we used to cut open the box lengthwise and lay it down, then you open the bag along the seam and pour milk inside. Great video! Thank you for all your content :)
I've only been on 1 cruise in my lifetime and it was quite short yet very fun. There's always a lot of food and my suggestion is to get little portions of EVERYTHING. It doesn't even need to be one meal, you can get more. It's worth the wait and though it might be expensive your mind and stomach will thank you.
I like to thank this pandemic. I like the way they changed the buffet stations. I like they serve the food to you. People act like monsters at the buffet stations.
The food looked good as usual, but that "sunrise" breakfast was so pretty. It didn't look like there were a lot of people on this cruise, maybe it's not cruise season yet?
I Just subscribed. Never been on a cruise . On my bucket list ! This is very enjoyable to watch . I am a true foodie so definitely plan on continuing to watch
Sooo scared to go on a cruise, never been, but I must say I appreciate any restaurant that serves *crispy* bacon. Food looks way better than I expected. Would def upgrade to concierge.
Outstanding You Guys have done it again !! Another enjoyable video , with lots to taste and experience. Thanks for taking us along. Excellent, Marvelous and Beautiful 🥓💗👍
I miss going on cruise ships. They’re so much fun and you never go hungry! The entertainment is so fun and we met a lot of people from different states and countries. The last time we went on a cruise was from San Francisco to Alaska, we’ve been to Alaska twice and Mexico, swimming in the ocean in Mexico, the water was warm like a bath, very nice! And the people working on the cruise ships were just excellent and friendly and even funny! I hope me and my hubby can go in a cruise to the Caribbean islands or around Europe next year. We always spend a bit extra for a suite with a balcony, it’s so worth it! All the food you ate looks too delicious, if it’s not too late, can you show your cabin suite? Thanks for sharing, your wife is so cute! 💖😁
A cruiship is like a city confined to a few blocks and is a bewildering holiday option but that's just me. Once tried 11 years back but got off on day 3. It was life over money lol. I'm more of a fly by, land based resort type. On the other hand this cruise seemed very calm and if not mistaken at 2:30 Steely Dan background music at the windjammer
I got a chance to go on the Ovation of the Seas and it was definitely an experience to remember. It was packed thou so I'm surprised by the small crowd in the video.
At buffets, I've always found letting diners serving the dishes themselves to be unhygienic, so it's nice to see the restaurant having someone serving each dish...
@@jlawrence0181 Exactly! I understand that they probably did it because of covid (one restaurant I went to watched you use hand sanitizer directly after entering) but I always hate it because I want to try different things and the employees never seem to understand what the meaning of "tiny portion" or "2 pieces, please" is.
@@Juleru Agreed. Early in the pandemic, it was determined that Covid-19 was transmitted through the respiratory system as opposed to the touch and that the virus could not live on inanimate objects. Therefore, the buffet does not pose as much a threat as once believed. Early on, I say people spraying their produce with sanitizer which was scary in itself.
@@jlawrence0181 Not completely correct: The virus can stay on an inanimate object for a while but evebtually it dies of course, so theoretically transmission would be possible if a sick person coughs/sneezes on their hand, then touches a spoon and another person touches the same spoon and afterwards e.g. rubs their eyes with the same hand.
All-Inclusive resorts are so much better than cruises. All the food and alcohol and drinks are free. And it's basically Michelin star high class restaurants.
My first cruise was in 1998. They didn't have any sugared breakfast cereal. The closest they had was Raisin Bran and then they had about 10 other bran cereals. I started bringing single serve cereal cups that you just throw away the container when you're done but it was cereal that I liked: fruit loops, Corn Pops, Honey Comb, Apple Jacks, etc. I think they noticed because after a couple of cruises, they already had those cereals on board. Luckily, I always sailed w/ the same cruise line. I don't know about now, but room service has always been complimentary to everyone on Holland America. Oh, and always try a sandwich. They make all of their bread homemade and the sandwiches are really good. Also, don't be a putz and ask for freshly squeezed citrus juice. It's always freshly squeezed on a cruise ship.
It has been really great finding your channel, I was hooked on watching you every time you ate something sweet your face lit up it just said it all, and the chocolate face is definitely the best face of all.
I whent on that one as a small kid, this just brought back a wave of nostalgia. I even lost my first tooth on this one! 2:18 mostly this, and the pizza. I remember eating alot of pizza during it lol.
