My mom often took me and my sister with her to Pahurat to buy fabrics as she was a garment maker, but we never thought of trying Indian food before. Just recently I ate Indian food for the first time in that same restaurant you were in and I loved it a lot! Super flavorful! Thanks for sharing, Serg! ❤️
Hi Serg, there is a Burmese noodles (Myanmar noodles) on your right at 4:44. I don't know that it taste like the authentic one or not, but i think you should try.
Hello I like indian food too, thank you to visit this place and put the links in description below, I will try next time I will come Thailand in November
The green and red ones are modak and the orange twisted ones are Jalebi! Deep fried! Good to see you enjoying! Being an Indian I usually stay away from eating so much sweets for their calories. And loved the way you described Gulab jamun! 😅 I have recently moved to Bangkok! Love to catchup when you have your meet ups! 😅
Unfortunately my mind went blank on a couple of the dishes as I was sitting there. As much Indian food as I have eaten back in America, I really should know better. Lol. Oh probably think about doing a meet up once I hit 20,000 subscribers. I think it’s just too early to do it. I appreciate your support.
I loved Indian food. I’m gonna have to find some other ethnic neighborhoods here in Bangkok. I know there’s obviously Chinatown, there’s a Japanese neighborhood not far from me and there’s also an area that’s full of Middle Eastern shops and restaurants.
Paneer, also known as ponir or Indian cottage cheese, is a fresh acid-set cheese common in the Indian subcontinent made from cow or buffalo milk. Maybe some are made with Goat Cheese as well?
When my two aunties came to visit me in SoCal from Thailand, they were simply amazed at how cars stopped for pedestrians. They were used to cars and motorbikes having the right of way over pedestrians in Thailand.
After your last pic trailing this video you put me in the mood, so I grabbed a chicken jalfrezi for tomorrow's dinner 👏 Nice to see this part of the city, I haven't seen anyone else taking a look 👍
Hi Serg, enjoyed your video. The Indian food looked delicious bit on the pricey side. This is an area I knew nothing about so thank you for that. Take care GOD Bless you and yours. M
Yes it was not cheap, there are cheaper Indian restaurants in Bangkok. I’m definitely going to go try them. There’s so many cool little hidden neighborhoods in Bangkok. I’m sure I will never find even 10% of them, but it’s fun looking.
Hey there Matt! I’m always happy to know that people are enjoying my videos. Sometimes when I finish making them I second-guess whether or not people will enjoy it. 🤔😜 I do RU-vid because I love finding some of the more hidden places and sharing them with you guys. More to come soon!
Hey Serg The Indian sweets that you tried Green and Red ones are called MODAk. A very special offering to Lord Ganesha during the festival. The other one is Jalebee again typical Indian sweet enjoyed during festivities.
Nice video, Serg. I usually visit Little India once a month to purchase all my spices, nuts, legumes, and dried fruits. Punjab Sweets and Royal India are great places for Indian cuisine. Should you revisit the area, Mama Restaurant is also great (especially their Sino-Indian dishes like Gobi Manchurian), and right across from them is a little outside stand with a few tables called Tony's which has really tasty and really inexpensive Indian/Nepalese dishes (best deal in town!).
It’s not a very big area, but it’s definitely really cool. There’s another restaurant there called Tony’s, that’s supposed to be some excellent Indian food as well.
Thanks man. Yeah this was a very interesting place. As I mentioned in my videos, I’m not a religious person, but for some reason I really enjoy seeing different houses of worship.
11:05 That's a very interesting way to say cumin (cue-min) lol Also 15:36 that's the world's first garden bridge! It would've been second if London went through with its plan for one, but it failed because... of the (then) new Mayor of London.
Your pronunciation of Indian food items is on the dot and you have great knowledge of Indian food. Very impressive. Love from India. 🙏 This emoji means “Namaste”- greetings with respect.
I spent 41 years in northern California. There was a sizable Indian population and I went to many Indian restaurants. I really love Indian food. Thanks for your support, as always, Radhika!
The green and red sweets are called peda, they are made out of milk, sugar and spices like cardamom. The orange round sweet is called Jalebi. Crispy cracker served with Indian thali is called papad or papadam. The goat cheese is cottage cheese and its called paneer. Love your videos keep on rolling them.
For some reason I just could not remember the cheese. I’ve had Indian food many many times but just had a blank moment. Lol. Glad you like my videos. Thank you. 😊
I couldn't find any good Indian food in Tbilisi, but, surprisingly, found some great Thai food! 😃 Granted, I haven't been to either India or SE Asia, but I have been to 21 countries and the best Indian food I ever had was in Carvoeiro, Portugal on the Algarve. Those guys were dedicated!
Like to watch your travel-blog👍 As for me, showing local toy-shop/retro-shop/collectioner-shop - very interesting😁 think About this😁 And hope, May be in Future, you visit Odessa😉👍
I will do a video like that soon. I would love to go visit Odessa some day. Right now, as a Russian born American, it probably would not be a good idea for me. Hope all is well with you Makc and that your shop is thriving.

Hi Serg I enjoyed your Indian Video. It’s really interesting. But I am not a friend of Indian Food. I think that’s prejudices. Some years ago I ate one time Persian and it was horrible. I know it’s a different between these countries. Nevertheless I never try Indian. I am used to eat Italian, Thai, Chinese, Greece. But Greece is very simple. Now I prefer of course Thai. Thanks for the beautiful impressions.
Maybe the Persian food you had was bad. I would suggest you try Persian food again somewhere else. Indian food is very different. I really recommend you give other cuisines a try. My suggestion is to find a well rated place or go with someone who knows which dishes are usually the best.
Please, Serg, never stop going to 7-Eleven, not even when you reach 1-million subscribers milestone. This is a must in your videos ;) You were wise enough not to go with the really spicy Indian food this time.
@@LifewithSerg Thanks, I'll be in town end of the month. Will try to make my way there. I've seen on reddit some people saying their stomach wasn't ready for the food. Would you say this is a possibility?
The Indian food looks like cheap cafeteria food, no thanks. Go to places with better chefs . Make videos on specific things, like desserts or bazaar bargains.
