Fosters is definitely a stereotypical beer that hardly any Aussies drink. Once in a blue moon in maybe the 70's up to a certain point, some Aussies did drink it but since then it has been sold to either UK or USA owners for that novelty aspect. Tried it once but you would get more kick from drinking dishwater oppose to Fosters.
that's an american australian restaurant; hardly anyone eats kangaroo although you can get it at the supermarket, but fosters is hard to even buy, let alone drink. coopers is a great macro though

No one but the "tourists" drinks Fosters. Most of our regular beer is between 4.2 - 4.8% alcohol. I once met an aboriginal fella who had a 3 day old dead roo in the back of his station wagon. He was cutting very thin strip's of green flesh from the roo and eating it. Even as a Chef, I couldn't stomach that shit.
there's a [lace over here in Vancouver BC that sells kangaroo meat pies. they're absolutely delicious! they taste like a mix between deer and beef. not fatty but very tender
