There is no better way to truly immerse in a country's food culture than to eat where they eat! We were missing our mum's cooking, so we decided to check out a local busy lunch spot and try their cơm bình dân. 🥢
Cơm bình dân or cơm trưa is a popular lunch and afternoon eatery that the locals usually swing by to have a quick meal before they go back to work or get on with their day. The sellers usually operate right out the front of their house and offer LOTS of rice and a selection of side dishes! Not only was the food extremely tasty, each dish was nothing more than $1!! 😍
We sure miss our mum’s cooking but we aren’t complaining when there are so many of these family style restaurants in Vietnam 😊
