Such a coincidence ... Today me and my wife prepared dosa batter to make dosas like the CTR masala dose here in Milano and I watch gulia trying CTR. Karnataka Dosas are special ... Once you eat dosas in Karnataka ... You dont feel like having dosas anywhere else .... Vidyarthi Bhavan, CTR, Mavalli Tiffin Room, Nandi Upachara, Taaza thindi and many more iconic eateries in Bangalore serve the best dosas ... Also Diana in Udupi ...
I like the way you were having bites with your eyes closed. It literally makes us experience the actual taste of the food without getting distracted from surroundings. And feels heavenly when you put it in and melts with every single chew. I often do the same😁
India is an extremely diverse country. There is a place near Bangalore called Bidadi and there is a dish from there called Thate Idli. Thate idli is one of my favorite snacks. However you should never use the word Thate in Delhi people will be offended. I remember 10 to 15 years ago Raghu and Rajiv in MTV Roadies used to use that word with contestants from Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. Who remembers the TVF gag of Rowdies in 2012?
I could hate you guys, without much difficulty. The Kesari Bhat nearly broke my heart. But then you got to the Hyderabadi Biryani, and the world stopped rocking. Naturally living in Hyderabad, that type of biryani is a staple. Finally, you land up at CTR, which was practically my home restaurant in Bengaluru. Oh, good. I can survive the MTR Kesari Bhat now. In fact, I am one up. You didn't get to Veena Stores.
Ingredients in Kesari Bhat also contain Pineapple, Ghee (Clarified Butter) and Dry Fruits like Peanuts and Almond, hence Kesari Bhat is one of the most popular Breakfast delicacy in Karnataka State of India. It is little similar alike Sira Dish in Maharashtra State in India. Pongal is little similar alike Italian Risotto Dish. Anyway Wonderful Food Vlog in Bangaluru City. 😊Bon Appetite.
Because they indulged from decades and they become kannadigas and they also taste Mysore bonda, mysorepak when they are in other states so don't get confused 😊
One cannot call these street food. These places are iconic places in Bangalore. Please do have the Mangalore buns dipped in coffee....it is heavenly💕 The pongal you are referring to is called sakkarai pongal which is famous in Chennai. This is called Venn pongal in Tamilnadu and Huggi in Karnataka
Julia, you are such universal class girl, who can go any where in world or universe and can deal with people or alien, you have very special skill that only came from genetic, civilization or family.
Bangalore street food has so much variety and is full of flavor, probably the vegetarian food variety here is greatest in south India. In Malleshwaram you can try CTR for dosa, the Idly shop and also the gulkand which you should try once. Bangalore was paradise in 1990s and early 2000s before the pollution, traffic, and hindi hate took over; probably it is influenced and brought over by other SI state migrants.
Sweet pongal like sugar pongal and jaggari pongal other wise melukote iyengar pongal, puliogare, pongal is famous from iyengar families of South indian
Bangalore lovely lovely city....namma Bengaluru....😍😍 U wouldn't go dissatisfied with food here....so happy, u loved all that u tasted here Giulia....tnq and revisit Bangalore again...
If u r in Bangalore u guys should have the famous biryani from Meghana foods It is so popular in Bangalore that all the bangloreins love it RECOMMEND TO TRY IT ❤ U WILL LOVE IT
@@marcstylish-st1lw These are the pride of Bengaluru with old school type restaurants which specialize in local foods and mostly put up in old buildings, hence you will find people waiting in long ques.... Street food is generally recognized where they are in open street or sold via carts - there is one for vegetarians in the city called VV Puram food street. For meat lovers, there is Frazer town and Shivajinagar where vibes double during ramadan time
@@rohithiyer2002 I admire the fact you took time to point out something about the city. But you do wonder whether it's the new gen of Bangalore or the migrant who knows less about Bangalore! There's no VV Puram street food thing, it's a RU-vid creation. Bangalore as a modern town is 200 years old and people have been eating out in all parts of Bangalore. Please try to understand many of the cities of the world including Bangalore were created hundreds of years before the year 2000.
Madam, Indian Dishes are developed over Generations, one can try out different combinations ( at their own Risks) but trdnl combos are Best. And its True for Whole INDIA.
Hey Giulia, really liked your content that you are posting lately. Please come to Hoskote (bangalore) to have the very famous Hoskote Dum Biriyani… We would love you host you…!!!
Don't miss to try plantain leaf meal in Udupi krishna bhavan, Gandhi bazar branch Include Traditional dish Bisibele bath in ur list You should have visited MTR lalbhag branch to get original taste and vibes
@@rajavishnuvardhana6830 🤔🥴😅 Doesn't make sense to True Bangaloreans and for families who have built it since a 100 years. Newbie freeloaders shouldn't have opinions...
Take it as a challenge giulia. Start a filter coffee company in ITALY .Mark my words... You will have the best coffee company in ITALY IN A YEAR. JUST DO IT.Thank me later
There's no Rameshwaram cafe in Jayanagar. We have hotels here since 60 years ago here which are of Karnataka origin. Do we need to showcase hotels to guests from 2 years ago which serve Karnataka foods having some other state name and at throat slitting rates?
