I always forgot to say that I actually amazed at how 3yo William is good at two-way conversations. Like he is really speaking and give respond like a grown up kid already. He is responding, asking, conducting a conversation really well. Not just plain yes or no, etc. He has wide vocabulary.

I'm always amazed again and again by william's intelligence, perception and wide vocabulary for his age. even more incredible to me though is how big his heart for other people is. I don't think I've ever seen a kid this loving, this caring and this empathetic before. a lot of children his age are more focused on themselves (and that's fine!), but william loves to share and take care of others when he can. it's sweet and really touching to see and just goes to show how wonderful sam and yumi are at parenting. I really wish that one day, if or when I too have a kid, I could raise them to be as kind and caring as william. meanwhile ben is as adorable as ever. my heart was swelling with love when his face brightened immediately when he thought sam had returned. that he started crying when he thought it was a stranger instead was a bit funny negl, but he warmed up very soon to "grandpa" and that was very cute. he'll grow to become a social butterfly, I'm sure! even before sam himself started tearing up, I was tearing up myself at the whole situation. seeing how emotional sam was in the end then made me full on bawl myself. thank the heavens, my parents are still alive, so I don't personally share the experience that sam has, I could only imagine how painful it must be for him to harbor regrets, or how huge the hole in his heart must be, caused by the loss of his father. but the pain was clearly written on his face and my heart went out to him for that. thank you for giving sam the opportunity to see something he so desired with his own eyes, even if it was not the real thing. he must have been really happy at seeing how welcoming his sons were of his "father" and how easily they could get along with him. it was a very emotional moment that will last for a lifetime

I just realized what they meant when they said that Grandpa lived above. I was slightly confused at first since Australia is below them. Then I realized that they were referring to heaven, I felt so emotional and cried a little bit. Sam raised his son's so well and he also teaches me lessons such as appreciating and loving your parents while they're still here!

I lost my mom from cancer 2 years ago. This makes me wish I could've had children for her to see. You will have regrets of not telling your loved ones, you love them. I regret everyday for not being next to my mom and telling her that I love you and that she was beautiful. Cherish every moment. You never know when the day comes.
