I was gonna say more of the same..I've had Rallys in Ohio and Checkers here in TN and I've never had bad food. Love the fries more than anything but the burgers and chicken sandwiches were always on point too. It must depend on location maybe.

A&W hot dog stands / Restaurants have been popular in the U.S since the 30's , They started the first one in Sacramento. How you have never seen one until today blows my mind. And all Checkers / Rally's are that size, they make the best French fries out of every fast food place.

Checkers really isn't that bad, it really depends on the location you go to. I've never eaten at the ones in Nashville but I've had it in other locations and they are really good

@@abelardopascual6564 Dude, sometimes when the fries are straight out of the oil, they have that apple pie kind of flavoring and smell going on, they are SO good. Even if they don't, just freshly fried Checker's fries are freaking incredible almost every single time.

I’m 58 years old and remember going to A&w as a kid. Back then they had carhops and momma papa and baby burgers the memories. Each parking spot had a menu and a speaker and the girls brought your food while wearing roller skates.

Hey Brennen I know you have a bit of a lactose intolerance , and have issues with cheese but I'm just curious if you've ever tried making organic ground cinnamon tea before and after eating some cheese , or milk the reason I ask is because for me I have a mold and fungus allergy and when I take cinnamon before and after I don't get ibs symptoms accompanied by sick feeling... I would highly recommend trying this! All you do is ask your person / waiter / waitress for hot water and carry around a bag or bottle of ground cinnamon powder give it a stir and sip on it throughout your meal you may find your symptoms dissipate if not completely disappears! Cheers!

You should come to Indianapolis and try out some mom and pop restaurants here. I know of 4 that I think you'd like. Mann's Grille, Workingman's Friend, Mug N' Bun and Mel's Drive In. Mel's is basic. But going to the others..... I think you'd be happy. 😊 Happy Eating!!

I grew up with A & W Restaurants everywhere and I am 48 years old from Iowa the restaurants were like Sonic's you drive up you eat in your car with the little tray attached to your window and your waitress comes out wearing roller skates

At A&W, the corn dog nuggets with their cheese sauce is great. We had one in our mall in Florida and would get it for “breakfast” before my shift at Ruby Tuesdays. Also Checkers down here was WAY better 10 years ago.
