*scared into answering by Sarah's yelling* I have never been to Korea and there's basically no Korean places here so I've never eaten any Korean food so I do not have a favourite but those Macarons looked really good! (was that a good enough answer? °_°)
I’m Korean who lives in US. It does say “coffee커피“ in Korean on the cup. It is called “Hotteok” in Korea but I think it is called ‘Hotteoku’ in Japan. Enjoyed your video in Shin Okubo. Thank you!!
HI MY NAME IS SARAH, I LIKE CHEESE!! 🤣🤣🤣 My lord getting Sarah and Emma together is ALWAYS a recipe for success!!! Great video, great energy, great vibes and just so so much fun!!! Crackin’ job ladies, keep it up TC! ❤
I'll have to say - this video's editing is particularly FANTASTIC! From the editing itself to the pacing to the shot selection to the choice of overlays and the graphical elements, 10/10 Send my compliments to the -chef- *_editor!_*
I love tteokbokki so much that I made my own rice cakes; I was tired of buying various brands, only to have them split when I cooked them. I also like mine especially spicy and I go through so much gochuchang paste every month. My favourite Korean food right now is a tie between membosa (shrimp toast) and beef bulgogi. The owner of a convenience store near me gave me her recipe for beef bulgogi so I can now make it at home, affordably, instead of paying $18 for an order with a pathetically small amount of rice. You both are small bundles of chaos and I mean that in the best way possible!
The Korean pancake sounds like a Korean version of a pupusa! A pupusa is a Salvadorean dish of dough filled with beans and cheese, or chicharron (fried pork), or other fillings, and the dough is shaped like a pancake. I believe it is cooked on a griddle.
I've never been to Korea before and the only Korean foods I've tried are the snacks I find at my local Asiana Market and some of the local Korean BBQ places but I've yet to have something I dislike! That potato corn dog thing looks like it would be right up my alley though!
I've been to Korea 7 times and have relatives that live there. I grew up eating Korean food. Before kdrama and kpop no one was really interested in korean food.
That korean corn dog. All the ingredients, it's a calorie bomb, and it's not even good. Ate it twice, felt my arteries clogged and had to lay down in regret for a day. 😂 And I used to live there for many years XD
Do... do Aussies not put ketchup and mustard on cheeseburgers? Here in the States that's pretty bog standard as a combo - having cheese, ketchup, and mustard together. DO THEY HAVE CHEESEBURGERS IN AUSTRALIA?!?
You mostly show us what to eat etc but where you do your toilet things? Or do you just have to wait until you are back to hotel? Do you need to pay or carry yout own toilet paper like I have heard that people in Japan have their own toilet paper? In Finland you can go almost everywhere to relief yourself but how in Japan? I wanna come to visit Japan and try also foods but what if I need a toilet😂??? Can this be a video theme?😁
Wow that's a lactose intolerant sufferers nightmare! Cheese on everything. Fortunately I'm not lactose intolerant. I'm very patient and open minded when it comes to dairy. Whoever thought of potatoes in corn dog batter...genius! Like the first person who stuffed French fries inside their McDonald's burger. I like the bit of dance at 01:30. A little offbeat yet delightfully self expressive and spontaneous...like a Bollywood movie!
I lived in Korea for four months and definitely never saw a hotteok like that! They were always sweet, filled with sugar, honey or nuts. Apparently savory versions do exist in Korea though. Now I want one! 😩
Have been to Korea and Japan about 4 times each and it's absolutely amazing! Can recommend both countries, they're always worth visiting. Favorite Korean food is Dolsot Bibimbap with Bulgogi 😍but I'm really into Japanese Ramen/Soba too 😍 PS: Yes Sarah is right, the cup at 08:34 says Keopi (커피) which translates to Kōhī (コーヒー), Kaffee in German or coffee in English 🥰
Lol! When you were having the corn dogs I was like “yeahhh!” Except I don’t like hot dogs, it’s the cheese! Then Emma said there is just a tiny dog inside, I was like “hell yeahhh”! Love how much fun you guys have!
I've been following this channel for a while, but recently just got into videography, and just realized how well shot/exposed all these vids are. Great job TC! 😁
Ohh! You two had some of my favorite street foods! Man, I have to go on a hotteok hunt soon. Love the Emma/Sarah vibe! Looks like such a fun hangout day. And we should be getting pretty close to a Hanami video, right? But I'd love to see somewhere other than Ueno. Find us a secret spot plz! Great video as always! Thankee!
These two have summed up the great Aussie camaraderie that girls and women have- like strawberries and creme ❤️❤️ love watching Emma for years, so to have the addition of Sarah now is awesome! Love the "Australians in Japan" flair and focus. Keep up the great work gal's!
Love this vid. We need more Weekday. I want to try all of these Korean foods and I promise I will open my mouth big enough so the food goes in and not all over my face.
