Eating The Best Taiwanese Food Outside of Taiwan in Flushing, NYC 🇹🇼 

We went on a Taiwanese Food Tour in NYC w/ ‪@hungryartistny‬ & ‪@letsrolloutnyc‬ - is this the best Taiwanese food outside of Taiwan?! We ate stinky tofu, gua bao (pork belly buns), pork chop rice, popcorn chicken, blood rice cakes, Taiwanese sausages, sizzling beef platter, beef noodle soup, and more at 4 different spots in Flushing.
First up, Taipei Hong, a spot that’s a bit hard to find, but worth the visit. They serve stinky tofu, a dish for any adventurous eater. The fermented tofu packs a punch of flavor that is sure to surprise your taste buds. We also got the gua bao, a fluffy steamed bun filled with savory pork belly, and the delicious pork chop rice.
Next up, Legend Chicken, a spot known for its fun night market snacks and HUGE chicken breast. Here they also have blood rice cakes, as well as Taiwanese sausages, both street food staples in Taiwan. Don’t forget to wash that all down with a refreshing Taiwanese soft drink, Apple Sidra!
Then, we headed to 8090 for the Taiwanese Style Steak, a sizzling beef platter that’s hearty and delicious. & You can't forget the very classic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup!
We finished off with some dessert at Meet Fresh. There we got the Ube Milk Shaved Ice, a creamy and creative dessert that comes with taro balls, taro paste, and potaro balls all served on top of shaved ice. It was the perfect way to end our food crawl on a sweet note. If you’re looking for great Taiwanese food in Flushing, look no more!
