You don’t have to feel bad for “disrespecting a culture’s cuisine”, as 99% of “Chinese” food in America is actually American cuisine with Asian-esque veggies, some spices, umami. But Asian people don’t really eat what they serve. And sorry, it is crab Rangoon 😊

That Rangoon might be imitation Crab which is a bunch of white fish mashed together with red dye or it could be bits of shrimp. This video was funny tho. Worse rated places sometimes be fire 🔥 I do trust your judgements cause you went in wanting to actually love the food & not expect it to be nasty...if that makes sense

The pink is artificial crab 🦀 you only get real crab at nice Chinese places.

I ordered something at a restaurant(sit down) and there was literally a whole wad of hair in my meal. First and last time going. And it was an expensive restaurant…lol.

My first job was in a Chinese restaurant and I’ve seen it all! The reason the orange chicken/ sesame / general tso is too mushy is because of their batter & it was probably only fried 2 times. All of those are normally fried 3 times to get a crisp and then tossed in a sugar sauce. Lol that’s why it’s so horrible for you. 😂 some places bring in family to cook on a whim and they don’t know where to begin lol takes a long time to learn how to make flavorful Chinese food!

I feel the same way about finding a hair in my food. I've worked in the food industry and sometimes it just happens. It's always just an accident. However if the food is trash and I find a hair I'm not nearly as forgiving.

These all looked good but looks can be deceiving! The beef looked especially nasty. I love lo mein but that didn’t look like any lomain I’ve eaten! Thanks for the review, Timmy! I have a great deal of respect that you are not calling the restaurant out by name. Those Yelp reviews are all available for those who do their homework prior to buying. Why would lo mein (or any noodle dish) come with rice? That makes no sense at all. It's already noodles. Would pasta be served over pilaf?

Nah... That sounds like a restaurant that keeps reusing leftovers ... I can eat at a place that has " bad tasting" seasoning or bland food, but a low health score, or hard dried foods that should be wet are a no go. That's just unhealthy. Be careful what you put into your belly and mouth!

Most Chinese food restaurants use MSG for flavoring enhancement. Maybe this particular restaurant chooses not to use it as an ingredient which is why it's probably lacking flavor. 🤷‍♀️ So weird!

That review was right about the lo mein noodles. They aren't supposed to be like linguini noodles, they are supposed to be thinner like more of a spaghetti look. I don't order dishes with meat from my local Chinese restaurants because I'm cautious about it. I feel like it would just make me sick and the few times I have had it, the texture has just thrown me completely off. I felt bad watching you eat the beef and broccoli because as much as I love broccoli, the way that meat is prepared at Chinese restaurants just isn't good to me, so I don't eat it.

The worst Chinese food I've toke a few bites of is the one in conneaut Ohio next to a Mexican restaurant in the wonton was a Plastic confetti cut long pieces of bag and the cook seemed to not wanna cook anything at his restaurant but vegetable chow mein

To be fair I'd rather wait longer to get better food then it be pumped out and be either sub-par or crap....that's just me though.

The city/town I live in must not really be into Chinese food, bcuz the only Chinese restaurant I can get delivered is the only one in town and unfortunately it's also bland greasy doughy, nearly tasteless food. Idek how they're still open! It's that bad. Every time I'm really craving Chinese I have to drive about 20 min away, which is a giant pain in the arse 😢
