Eating Vegan At Disney's Food & Wine Festival 2018! | We Tried All 8 Menu Items!

In today's vlog we head to Walt Disney World's EPCOT Center for another round of the International Food & Wine Festival 2018, but this time we're going vegan! We found a vegan food & drink list from vegandisneywor... and decided to take a vegan tour around the food & wine fest booths! We tried all 8 items and we liked more than half of them so we think we had a pretty successful trip! Have you tried any of these items? What did you think? Let us know in the comments below! i’m vegetarian and i LOVE that y’all are doing this. not even just because of my beliefs about vegetarianism, or veganism, just because you’re so open minded and receptive to things outside of your experience. for me, going vegetarian introduced me to so many different kinds of food i never would’ve thought to try that are now some of my favorite dishes. and with your review of the impossible burger- i think you can relate ;)

YOU GUYS. You made my little vegan heart so incredibly happy with this video! I almost did a double-take when I saw the title bc I couldn’t believe it. I have been watching your videos for AGES, literal years, & have since gone vegan during that time. I’m not gonna lie, witnessing the amount of bacon cheeseburgers consumed on this channel started to get to me, haha. I am so passionate about what the impact of a vegan, plant-based diet has on our health, on the animals & on the environment. I began to think, “Man, I can’t keep watching this.” You guys have such a large youtube following & platform, seeing you guys eat & enjoy vegan food (in my/the happiest place on earth, no less) means so much to me! I hope to see more videos like this! Going vegan has opened my mind to the unfathomable cruelty of animal agriculture & dairy industries. If you’re curious, Hot For Food on RU-vid is my favorite go-to for vegan recipes. James Aspey, Earthling Ed & Mic the Vegan (all on RU-vid) are incredible channels you should check out for more info. James & Ed have speeches garnering millions of views each. Maybe you guys could check out challenge22.com & make a video of it? It’s a free online source for those interested in a plant-based diet, full of helpful recipes, professional help from registered dieticians & other vegans. Anyway, it’s worth a look. With that being said, I am off. And now it’s time to pay the price.

This actually extremely kind of you guys to try vegan option or different options to let people know with different diets what they can eat when their experience at the parks are once or twice a year and so know they study what they can so they have a better time at the parks, like i would LOVE if you guys try the gluten free non vegan experiment, because i am a gluten intolerant viewer and maybe in a year i would have a trip to disney california or universal studios.

Thank you for doing a vegan food video! Everything looks so yummy! Just a side note though, probiotics are vegan! If vegans had to worry about microscopic bacteria they would never be able to eat. I know myself and fellow vegans are all obsessed with kombucha lol

Thanks guys for the taste testing. LOL. Learning new things all the time. I have never heard that kombucha is not vegan. Almost every vegan I know drinks kombucha. If probiotic are not vegan then that would cut out kimchi and miso as those both have probiotic in them. I am getting confused. I think I'll just stick to I am a vegetarian and try to limit my dairy intake. I am going to have to look into kombucha. I do know about honey as it is considered and animal byproduct. I still use it, but I never tell someone something is vegan when I have honey in it.

I was vegetarian for many years and still often chose the vegetarian option of my own accord, and often also choose the vegan option. It’s good to mix it up and try different things :) I have also noticed that a lot of vegan/vegetarian options are spicy at places that don’t normally cater to vegans/vegetarians, and I’m not into spice, so that can stink! Glad Disney is trying!

Yessss! Thank you for doing this! When you came out with the cheeseburger egg rolls recipe, I actually made it vegan by using vegan veggie ground (instead of ground beef) and a vegan cheddar cheese and it was sooo good!

Great companies that sell vegan food are gardein, beyond meat, and daiya. Gardeins meatless meatballs are so good. Beyond meat has really good chik'n strips and daiya has awesome vegan cheese. Tastes exactly the same to me...

Daiya is one of the worst vegan cheeses available. You should try Violife, Follow Your Heart, Chao, Miyokos and the Aldis brand mozzarella. Those are great cheeses!

Joel Melendez you’re right but the “mozzarella” is the only daiya “cheese” that’s ok. That one works. But the daiya “cheddar” is pretty bad. I didn’t eat dairy for 3 years, I’ve tried it all! I found that just avoiding cheese was easier than trying to eat fake cheese but sometimes I craved it so bad I needed something! Some of the vegan frozen pizzas from Whole Foods were pretty good.

Awww I really love the curry at India! Both the vegan and non vegan option are good- actually the korma chicken was my favorite thing this year ! I think a vegan and gluten free series would be great! My best friend has Celiacs disease and got a gluten free burger in Animal Kingdom in Africa (I believe) and it was his first burger in like a year and he cried because it was so good! Disney has such amazing and diverse dining options and they're so great working with people who have certain food preferences and needs 💕

We started eating clean and healthy (not vegan) in 2018. I found that I use so much more spices including red pepper to give the lean meats and brown rice grains flavor. Maybe that's why most of the vegan food is spicy a well. We will be at Disney during next year's Food & Wine and I would try that Red Lentil Stew if it is still offered. Looked good. I actually have red lentils in my pantry and have no idea what to do with them so I"ll have to try and find a recipe! Thanks for the video.

I have food allergies and eat vegan, we were just there this past weekend. I ordered a double order of the greek nachos! soooo good! I had gotten them last year and knew I wanted more! But it made me so full I wasn't able to try the bread in India! I use Vegan Disney World site every time I go...and we even met up with them for breakfast one time. Super cool family, its such a huge help having someone keeping track of all the great options Disney has to offer! Thanks for trying vegan food and giving an honest critique of it!

We did the vegan options last time we were there. The wasabi creme is probably made with raw cashews. I’ve made sauce with raw cashews which is really good and makes stuff creamy! We liked the loaded Greek nachos the most. The Hummus Fries were our least favorite- the outside was too spicy for us. The juice I really liked that they don’t serve anymore is the watermelon juice!

You gotta try the vegan chocolate vanilla swirl soft serve from Erin McKenna's at Disney Springs. From what I understand it's not available every day, so you might want to call ahead. My husband and I had it in March while on vacation and we still talk about it to this day. Another stand out vegan dish I had was from Epcot at Tangierine Café. The vegetable platter was delicious! Thank you for the vegan video! It made my day! The nachos and the burger looked delicious!

💖So excited you guys did this! I’ve been watching you guys since 2013 & I’ve been vegan since 2016. Kombucha is generally vegan unless made with honey. Eating nondairy probiotics are fine for vegans (if we couldn’t eat bacteria we would just have to become those people who think they can photosynthesize.)💖

This was a great video! I'm not vegan, but I can't eat dairy as it really effects my skin (I have bad eczema), so this was really interesting to watch and see what options Disney have!

Guys I just wanna say thank you for doing this. I enjoy watching your videos but as a vegan, don't always enjoy watching all the meat you guys eat ( that's not a criticism). This means a lot that you've done this and that you're gonna do a series. So exciting. For recommendations to try out: Universal have just added quite a few vegan options onto their menus across both parks. Erin McKenna's bakery at Disney Springs is 100%vegan. Voodoo donuts at Citywalk have vegan donuts also. I've followed your channel for a while now and even have got a few new subscribers by recommending your channel. Love your content!

Love watching you guys when there a video up. I'm not a Vegan, but my bf is. I'm planning a Disney trip in January, but can't seem to know where to eat with him. Hope to see in future video of you guys trying out Vegan food at the parks, resort and into Disney Spring. Keep up the great videos coming !!!
