Eating Vegan With No Fridge or Freezer! 

Glad to see you're back on the boat and things worked out. With the solar panels you have if you go on Amazon you can get a 12volt cooler style fridge ,, I have a couple from the company BOUGE-RV , they have great reviews and your Solar Array will keep it running 24/7 no problem. Even with no sun your batteries should keep it running for 24-36hrs. As far as your ice box , just let it drain into the bilge and let the pump do the work. But blocks of ice not cubes, they'll last 24+ hrs and keep perishables in fine order to broaden your grocery selection. I hope you get some Ocean time on the Bruce Roberts this season. By the way... That rice looks amazing , really, and i am not a gatekeeper when it comes to calling things paella, but "chorizo paella" is a 100% British thing hahaha, people from Valencia/ Spain would kill you

If you want to start keeping things chilled in your icebox without electricity, a 6pack of frozen 1.5L bottles of water will stay frozen for the best part of a week even in hot climates. Worked very well for me in Greece and once the defrost you have nice cool water to drink. Don't bother with bags of ice. Doesn't last as long, and leaks too much so wasted. Might be hard to find them frozen in the UK but small independent shops may let you buy them one day and pick them up the next, after freezing overnight. 👍
