Great video. Thanks for posting. Reminds me of night fishing back home, some of the best times. We use to night fish from the boat with lights. Lights brought up the bait fish and tossed shiners to the trout. Local rules had to keep the lights 15 feet above the water line. No problem more and brighter lights.

I used those plastic red and white floats for bluegill and bass fishing the farm ponds growing up in South Central Pennsylvania. They definitely have their usefulness.

I live in west Michigan I fish on the grand river and spring lake. I go out at night with lights on. It’s a completely different world out there in the warm summer nights. The fish finder screen lights up a wall of white, just blankets of bait fish and schools big boys eating. Some guys will bow fish for Gar at night with lights here it’s pretty cool. Thanks for the video.

I still use those big red and white plastic bobbers. I like them up here in the SE Iowa to fish the rip-wrap rocks along the rivers in the spring when the catfish start to spawn in the spring. You float a piece of cut shad under the bobber drifting with the current along the rocks. If it stops drifting or heads off to the side or upstream and goes under of course you have a cat after the bait. It's the only bobber type that does the job. Only drawback is it usually only takes one bounce off the rocks and it's time for a new one.

This comment is posted on behalf of fish everywhere: Imagine the pain and terror a fish experiences when a needle-sharp point of steel rips into its flesh; then the agonizing struggle for its life as it frantically swims to get free. Next, imagine a fisherman eating a juicy cheeseburger when suddenly a treble hook (hidden in the burger) rips into his cheek and he's yanked out of his chair. Then, he's lifted to the ceiling with his entire body weight supported by the hook in his jaw. Now, that's a video worth watching!
