Try to describe perfection, if you will, it's never an easy thing. Whenever I wear Roudnitska's Eau Sauvage, I let my feelings do the talking and they sing in charismatic vivacity. I love Eau Sauvage. It’s a standard for me and my easiest reach. When it comes to the Parfum, I’m convinced it is inspired by what Andy Tauer was doing in the early aughts. It has that slightly camphorous hints that might use ambergris and white florals in a subtle and non aquatic way.
Eau Sauvage EDT, love it - always elicits a smile when I first spray it on. Somehow always me feel joyous. Haven’t had a bottle of the parfum in ages (runious prices in the US.). & wherever did you get pour bottles? In this fragrance - nostalgia is what it used to be! haha! thanks for approving! I had no idea you could call them "pour bottles" but that makes sense. Always called them splash bottles myself. I got it from a discount site, here, it was cheap as well 😅 The parfum version i got from a seller, so it was used. I think i got it 2 years ago, i remember it was late autumn. Yea, its a very happy scent, the EDT. Sorry for the stream of consciousness response, i'm typing as I read. Happy holidays to you, as well!
Wonderful video.... did hear you say there's not a significant difference between the 2 releases of the Parfum version? I have a 90s version of the EDT and I have the Eau Sauvage Extreme from 2010... Now I'm looking to pick up the Parfum. I'm torn because I hear conflicting reports of which Parfum is the better. The older which you have (with myrrh) and the one replaced with elemi. Any thoughts would be appreciated 🙏🏻✌🏻
Hi! there are differences sure. When you compare them side by side, on a blotter. Older version is a bit darker, more mushroomy. I got the 2017 one for a friend of mine and wore it before giving it to him (with his permission of course) and they are very close. When he wears it around me, it reminds me 100% of the 2012 version. Sillage is the same, longevity is the same. I see no reason to pay ebay money for a fragrance that you can still find decently priced and you will enjoy it, I guarantee it.
