@@axselgonzalez3857 The pearl paint makes it chameleon like, even the Platinum White Peatl looks good with the black trim. But even the Aegean Blue Metalic looks like a pearl paint finish.
Picking up my 2022 6 speed manual sport hatchback in a few weeks! Your videos make so excited! Best 11th gen content on RU-vid! Gloss has been growing on me! Matches the mirrors and the wheels nicely.
The skirt HAS to be the next mod for my Red one! I tinted my windows already and it took my car to a whole new level! Keep up the great videos, can’t wait to see just how much you mod it 👍🏼
My gal arrived yesterday! Plantinum Pearl White. I've learned a lot in a short amount of time. Can't wait to dress her up more. Thanks for the great info!
Like the skirts. Like what you're doing to the car. I can't drill a hole in my car though. I like things that are 100% reversible because I can never make up my mind. And if several people don't like a mod I did I'll usually take it off. So I would go crazy thinking there's holes in my car. That's why I didn't buy honda mud guards. I don't want to drill into the bumper. I drive myself crazy trying to make a decision.
I understand! I used to be that way too. There wholes you will never see unless your under the car. Plus, if you go to trade, they won't see them either 😃
Looks very good with the gloss 1. Can’t wait until you lower it. My boost blue hatch is being built should have it towards the end of January. Can’t wait! Awesome videos love to see people start off on RU-vid and become successful. Your on your way man!!! Keep up the good work .
I think it fits better on gloss as the paint of car and wheels are black also. Does not look bad with front bumper being matt as front black grill is matt as well. So your choice at the end. Myself I tend to lean towards matt blacks in general, but on your honda it looks better in gloss sideskirts, looks clean and blends in the best!
It just flows right. If Honda would have made everything all matte or all gloss then I would understand. Buy since they used both I think it blends really well! Appreciate the comment my friend 🙏 Thank you!
Thank you Keo! There actually my shops at work. You'll be seeing a lot of them in the next 3 to 4 months now that it's cold outside. Maybe even a couple more that we have I haven't been in yet for videos. Appreciate the comment my friend 🙏
Thank you JF! It's coming for sure. Probably in a month or 2. Will most likely wait til winter is over and the snow starts to melt! Not sure! Appreciate the comment my friend 🙏
I have to agree with you, the more things you add, you Sport keeps looking nicer. If I got an Aegean Blue Metallic Sport Sedan like yours I would get the black emblems and legal smoke ceramic window tint from the start. Then I would add all the other things I want, and then start doing some of the exterior mods. I would probably get the two rear spoilers painted like yours, maybe the front lip, but I might get the HPD sideskirts, and rear diffuser, especially on the Si. Those sideskirts are nice, but look like lot of work, and seems to be generic cut to fit, but that's what you do, and have the place to do it. The gloss look fine as is, with the matte front lip. That front decal above the grill really tones down the square nose look, almost looking like the slant nose from the Hatchback and SI. I would get a plain matte black one. The top window tint shop here probably could do that since the do clear protective covering and such. And yes, if you can get the Hatchback honeycomb grille, that makes it look even nicer. To me the wheels look fine with the chrome wheel locks and lugs, and the black Honda valve caps. Those LED reverse and turn signal bulbs and sequential turn signals to replace the stock red reflectors are cool. The matching blue H-Mark grille emblem and black rear emblems look great on the Sport. For the Boost Blue Pearl Sport Hatchback, I would paint the fron H-Mark emblem gunmetal grey, and maybe a plate behind it painted Boost Blue Pearl to look similar to the Type R grille emblem. Otherwise, I probably would want mine more subtle outside, though the rear wing spoiler looks good. If I got the Si, I eould get it Sonic Grey Pearl with the full HPD appearance package, black emblems, blacked out Si emblems, and legal smoke window tint and rear LED light treatment like yours. It would be nice to have a Canada Spec Si with the outside mirror LED turn signals and foglights. The Canada Si I saw had not so fancy grey wheels, but that might have been a special set with snow tires. The foglights should have been in the Sport Sedan/Hatchback, but at least they have the panels to put them in, whenever they are made available. Honda should make leatherette door and center console armrests like the had on thr previous 10th Generation Civic Sports, even if it's just made available as an OEM optional accessory. If I find a good auto upholstery shop here, that would be an upgrade consideration down the road. Or I might just try to get the ones from the Touring/Sport Touring. For 2023, Honda should put that blinking engine temperature gauge in. Make the auto start/stop feature able to be disabled in the aystem settings and make the drive mode default at startup to the last mode it was in at engine shut down, or able to choose a default mode on startup in the settings. And if the lower trims can't have the wireless charging, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, at least put the two USB ports in the Sport trim and EX/EX-L trims. Otherwise, these new Civics are awesome. As long as they don't have a defective nut that connects the steering wheel to the drivers seat. The latest version of the previous 10th Generation Civic Sport Sedan/Hatchback was nice, but I am glad I wasn't able to get it, because the 2022 Civics are so much better and nicer. I
"The defective nut that connects the steering wheel to the drivers seat"! I like that!!! Love your comments as always my friend 🙏 I agree with most of what you had to say there. I found this really nice diffuser but its $1600. Think I'll wait a little bit. Was thinking about getting the HPD rear diffuser but I went with something else.

Hi. I go for #1. That is some serious sawing. 😳 Must be that movie magic again... 😂😂😂 You should have taken your coffee out of the cup holder before jacking the car. 🤬🤬🤬😂 Just kidding...😂
1. It looks surprisingly good for sure, the gloss wheels and gloss mirrors go well with it, and your glossy spoiler. I think you may need to just gloss up all the matte 🤔
I literally love all your mods so far i got my skirts but i cant get them in bc i cant thoes dang screws out to take that rubber piece off . Love the content
Thank you, Amanda! Truly appreciate the comment! You will need to drill them out. If you don't have a drill, see if you can borrow one from somebody for 5 minutes.
Great video! I also ordered universal side skirts for my 2022 Civic, but thinking of putting them on using 3M tape since I don't wanna drill holes in the car yet, hopefully stays on well.
Thank you Kai! If you use double sided tape only, make sure to use a good bonding agent! Not sure how good it will stay on with just tape. Appreciate the comment 🙏
Been loving these mod videos have been watching and installing some of them on my 2022 as well. Was just wondering if you had the eBay link for the side skirt I didn’t see it in the description. Thanks 717!
Thank you Cole, I'm really glad your loving the videos my friend! Here is the link to the skirts www.ebay.com/itm/78-7-Car-Side-Skirts-Extension-Splitters-Lip-Wing-Body-Kit-Universal-Black-/234135878865?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
It looks really good bro I would leave it gloss black or would do the gloss look carbon fiber for both front lip and side skirts but thats just me ,lol .keep it up
Definitely 1! Looks amazing btw! Was just wondering how hard was it to drill out those rivets? 🤔also would also love if you could show us how it’s look from the bottom where did you drill the actual holes.
Thank you for the comment Ervin! They are easy to drill out. Just make sure to use the right drill bit. I used the screws they provided as the pilot holes for the self tappers. Don't trust those smaller screws. I can do that here in a week or so, when I have it back up in the air.
Thank you for subscribing Kenny, greatly appreciate it my friend 🙏 I use mostly degreaser and elbow grease. I clean them roughly 2 or 3 times a week...lol! Now that it's winter I will try to clean them even more to get the salt of of them from the roads. Appreciate the comment my friend and welcome to the family!
Thank you for the comment Sherlyn! Unfortunately, your going to need to use a jack or it will be extremely hard to put on. I believe one came with the car.
Hey looks great ,,I have those skirts will install them this week,,,what size of screws did you used or both the one they provided and the ones you got ??
I used the ones they provided as pilot holes. To small for my liking. Went with the self tappers as seen in the video. Appreciate the comment Ray, thank you 🙏
@@717PROJECT any plans in installing a dash cam on your civic ?? I’m having a hard time reading the fuse box ,looking for a always hot fuse and hot fuse when car it’s on only !!!!!
Great video again my friend ! Hey have a question, it’s about the oil change, I still have a 30 % oil life with 6500 miles already, this is normal ? I mean normally the first oil change is suit at 3000 miles right ? This my first Honda Civic.
I would take it in now. The wrench usually goes on when you hit 7500 miles. It's because of the oil they use. I don't like going over 5k personally. Appreciate the kind words my friend 🙏 I went to the dealer with my fk7 at 3500 and they turned me down for an oil change and thats what they told me.
Hi, I was able to install the same lip you have on my sport touring. I want to get the side skirts to match but I don't have a jackstand, is it possible I can still install it without one?
Question 🙋🏽♂️: Are the these parts you’re putting on the 22 civic sport spoiler, front bumper, and skirts for looks, or does it actually improve the driving just a bit?
Hey bro, I was wondering what tool did you use to screw the self tapping screws, because I saw the video but I didn’t understand the comment on 6:10 . Could you explain it in more detail, please?
Hey Joel, I just used the screws they provided with a screwdriver for pilot holes for the self-tappers. You can use a drill also, if you have enough room. Hope that helps! Appreciate the comment 🙏 Thank you!
@@717PROJECT I’m still confused lol, so you didn’t screw in the hex heads 2:03 in the car, just the regular screws or did you use both? Im sry, I’m just trying to understand it correctly before I install mine.
Appreciate the comment, Cheng! It's easier to run the tappers if there is already a small hole started. Gives it something to bite too! Hope that answers your question.
Carlos, no mudguards yet but there incoming. I used a 1/4 wrench and a removable Philips head attachment from a screwdriver to remove the 2 screws by the rear wheels.
It would depend on the shops hourly rate I would assume. It took me an hour and I was filming and did it on the ground. Shouldn't charge more than an hour.
@@axselgonzalez3857 🤣 my bad www.ebay.com/itm/78-7-Car-Side-Skirts-Extension-Splitters-Lip-Wing-Body-Kit-Universal-Black-/234135878865?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
Hmm damn. I got the front lip on because I have a small power drill and could get underneath to drill holes for the screws on so I was hoping I could do the same with the skirts. I’ll see if it works and get back to you.
@@717PROJECT oh ha yeah I deleted it since I ended up just cutting the little rubber parts off with a knife because for the life of me none of the bits I had worked. I got them on though and they look great. Your video helped a lot though so thanks.
