EBAY Sparco Quick Release Follow Up (DO NOT BUY) 

They all get play eventually. But still function I race stock cars and all my steering wheels have done it but never failed !

"Steering wheel goes out the window, you die." Hate when that happends... 🤷🏼‍♂

I was contemplating buying and having a quick release system in my car, but on reflection, the Cons out way the Pros!! There is far too much risk of the wheel coming off! Daily driving has far too much wear and tear on the wheel over the longer time your likely to own and use a daily driver for road use. Where as, in on a track day, race setting, the quick release is essential for getting out of a burning wreck!!

if you don't like the play in the quick attach just har mount it to the adapter, that's what the adapter is for. you don't need the quick release.

Happened exactly the same on my simracing hub, few months and the problems started

The quick releas rol is to remove the steering wheel to have room to get in and out from a competition car. They dont last long. After every race or event( drift, rally)they need to be changed for safety.

i agree there is excessive play after a few months of use

Thanks it all boils down to this u get 4 what u pay for. Cheap always turns out to be expensive save $$ and get original one i was gonna buy of ebay but u got me thinking thanks

My sparco quick release isn't like that one.

it legit says oparco

what do you expect? get a proper nrg, works bell, nardi etc hub. get what u pay for

U also bought a fake one

using this cheap fake quickrelease back in 2012..got same problem..loose ball bearing..steering will shake..try NRG original quickrelease..better and safe

They dont always click in place so be careful, a sharp turn and wheel is off

You bought a knock off product and expect it to be up to standard. Come off it.

That’s why you buy nrg and not something cheap that you think will do good because it won’t
