Another great review thanks. I think you explained really well where this bike fits. I love the slim wheels, subtle e bike looks and lightness. I think I would take the fenders and carrier off so it looks less conservative if I buy one. Thanks again.

Excellent presentation ! I wanted more range and just scored a Trek Allant+9.9s for 30% off, Happy as a clam but the weight and appearance of this bike is impressive.

Is the rockshox for rougher terrain like off road or does is make a big difference on the street that can justify the money? I ride the pinellas trail here in Seminole FL which is nicely paved. Would it make sense for me to have it?

@@steverichards7325 , I’m strictly on roads and the Judy fork is perfect for going over speed bumps, potholes and other imperfections at 19 mph

Sucks the EU version is restricted to 25kph...any idea if a VPN set to US on the App would work or is it built into the bikes software?

The geometry is quite different from treks road bikes, domanes or emondas. The frame may look similar but the top tube is longer, so if you add drop bars on a trek fx frame, you have to reach out too much to ride drop, destroying your back even more lol

Can someone tell me why the price is significantly higher for this kind of e-bike compare to those foldable one? I know Trek is reputable in the industry but so as other foldable e-bike manufacturer. Any idea?

Just got mine and it is great. The $2500 sticker is well worth it. You can spend $1700 on some of the lesser makers out there and hope to find parts when you need them or go the extra $800 if you can and get a Trek. A world of difference in the quality and performance. Perfect for fitness.

I have a bad left knee and if I didn't have electronic assist when I need it I wouldn't be able to ride at all. Even though I don't owe you any explanations, you shouldn't make ignorant comments when you don't know the whole story.

I haven't seen a better ebike for $2500, especially the quality of a Trek with all of the support if necessary. The integrated battery shouldn't be an obstacle.

They have a bolt on battery which doubles the range. It looks ok.

Holy crap how far is your daily commute? This is meant for commuters. What do you want an e-bike for? There are different options for whatever your answer is. Find the one right for you 😊
