there's like the whole explanation on the nijisanji vtuber wiki page. but long story short, people thought meiro was copying roa's accent/mannerism of talking (which could've been solve easily since it was just a misunderstanding) and it cause a huge commotion to the company leading meiro to resign. and roa thought it was her fault for letting meiro resign since some fans were blaming her so she went on a hiatus/ disappearance meiro did explained that she didnt copied roa's accent. meiro said the accent just came out naturally when she was playing a horror game cause apparently it was her real accent from the region she lived in when she was a child. idk how to explain properly but y'all can read the whole conservation of meiro and roa on the nijisanji vtuber wiki page

There was a "drama" between her and another liver. Now she's on a self-imposed hiatus (since October last year) due to the backlash from that "drama".
