Dear Mr. Καφαταρίδης, Some important advantages are the following: 1) The cycle time is faster, because we can start the blowing process already under the head and don't have to lead to the calibration position first, like with a top calibration. 2) The forming of the neck is better, because the blow mandrel is already in the extrusion hose when the mould is closed and the blow mandrel does not have to be immersed into the closed mould first, as in a calibration above. Material is always "pushed" (compressed) on the inside. 3) Canisters with an internal thread in the neck can also be produced very easily, as the balsdorn can easily be equipped with a unscrewing device at the bottom. 4) The neck opening is at the bottom, so no flash (slug waste) can fall into the canister during punching.
