Damn glad I am not hurt, they shut it down and take enough time to show the guys the heli and shoot some video of the cockpit, then finally remember they had better get to the guy and put him in and get tot he hospital, must how we are going to start doing things here in America with Obamacare. Have to give a little show and tell to make a few bucks to help pay the bill or something.
We don't practice a "scoop and run"-system here in Germany. The paramedic and the emergency doc - usually an anesthetist - try to stabilize the patients as far as possible before the transport. This System (the "franco-german-system") works well over here, which may have to do with the population density, short distances an a well developed network of rescue helicopters we have here. Therefore nothing is wrong about shutting down the helicopter.
+neunzehn84 I've never seen a helicopter crew give a "show and tell" here in America. No matter what the story is, it just looks bad when they are doing it.
