In this video we are going to look at how we can start and stop an EC2 instance at a specific time automatically.
If you have a staging server which you want to shutdown and start at fixed time, then we can do that. We will create an AWS Lambda function will help us do this.

Hi Papa, the function takes an array of instance ids. So, just send all the ids that you want to work with and this script will work. Thanks for your appriciation.

I just created a Policy which I attached to the Role LambdaDevOps. Check ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Yq-z8yT7Aq0.html where I create the Policy And this is where I created the role: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Yq-z8yT7Aq0.html Hope this helps

if our requirement is check ec2 every 30 minute ,verify if someone is usi g then do not stop ec2 ,if no one is usi g and idle then stop ec2 after 30 minute.if ec2 is stop then do nothing.can you share code

Not sure if that's possible. There is no simple way to check if the instance is being used or not. May be some way to check CPU or Memory usage and stuff.
