You know you can do that with a four-jaw chuck and a hell of a lot less work than you're doing marking things. You just have to be real good at using an indicator and then you don't have to do so much scribing.
Blueprint called for eccentric to be 14mm diameter, at the end he had a 15 mm diameter. Nothing was to any dimensions as called out in the blueprint... FAIL...
